Everyone is welcome to come dust off the pie slingers, loosen the gate hinges, and begin reminding themselves they haven't gotten better watching England capitulate over the winter

The Old England Cricket Club are based at the Old England Pub in Montpelier, Bristol. Grab a pint and come join us whatever your ability level :)
We usually net out the back of the pub on most sunny Wednesdays from 6.30pm until dark.
Third game of the season against Bristol Aces at Page Park this Sunday. Tough fixture at the worst ground of the season would be a great place to get our first win 😎

First league game of the season this Sunday v Bristol Pakistanis @ Netham Park. So come join us for nets on Wednesday this week! We should have people there from 6pm until dark 😎

Lovely communal day gardening to get the nets operational for the summer. We'll be there now every dry Wednesday from 6ish until dark. Thank you everyone for your efforts!

We had our first net clear up session on Sunday. Amazing work by Eric and Barney! Mostly Eric probably.
Another session planned for this Sunday if you fancy volunteering your time for some gardening in the sun!
This season we're going to try and post more regularly. We don't expect anyone to react, so it'll be much like appealing for an LBW on Sundays.
The sun is out, the clocks are going forward. That can only mean one thing. Time to sort our incredibly unique nets out!
We're planning two clearing days on the 6th and 13th April, with the hope the nets are operational for all from the Wednesday to follow. If anyone fancies some gardening, come join us! We'll add times closer to the dates or just drop us a message and we can keep you in the loop.
