The school has cancelled all venues on the astro pitch tonight due to no electricity for the flood lights.
NO GAMES TONIGHT! Sorry

Due to one of our referee retiring we are looking for someone on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm all year round.
If you can help please contact us.

Deadline to join the new league starting 21st July, is running out. If you wish to put a team in for 6 a side, contact us by this Friday to be included.

The New League begins next month. If you want to join with a team, give us a call or comment on here.

To any teams over 16 years old who are looking for a venue to play 6 a side football, there are spaces on Thursday evenings at Winterbourne Academy, on their brand new 3G pitch.
Your team needs a minimum of 6 players with a maximum of 9 each game.

There seems to be some confusion to footwear acceptable for use.

Rules issued from manufacturer of 3G Pitch.

Any shoes which have PLASTIC STUDS ARE acceptable.
Definitely NO METAL STUDS OR BLADES can be worn.
Normal Trainers and Flat Sole Shoes are ALSO FORBIDDEN including Astro Soles.
Please make sure you have the correct footwear, as it WILL be policed on the entrance to pitch, meaning WRONG Shoes/NO Game.
Please study the Poster showing types of footwear approved, and ones not acceptable, that I am posting on here.

If not compiled, the guarantee is void on the grounds.

Delighted to announce we are resuming 6 a side football on Thursday 19th May at Winterbourne Academy.
The astro pitch has been replaced completely with top class 3G surface and new lighting.
We are able to accommodate new teams if any of you are interested.

Visited Winterbourne this morning to see the progress of the new 3G pitch. It's taking shape nicely as the pictures show. Speaking to the contractors, they're expecting to be completed and handed over in the next couple of weeks. We will know more when the school returns for new term next week.
