We are currently recruiting for a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team at BHL. This person should have at least five years’ experience in a similar position preferably with a carpentry background and a good knowledge of other trades.
BHL is a care service for adults with learning difficulties, therefore our main responsibility is the well being and safety our vulnerable adults (Service Users) within our facilities. So, we are looking for a team player who can also work alone sometimes in demanding situations.
The successful applicant will have to undertake a DBS check.
✔ The working hours will be 42.5 hours per week.
✔Any additional training required will be arranged.
✔20 days plus bank holidays per year.
✔A full UK driving licence is required.
✔A works van will be supplied.
✔Starting salary will be negotiable, depending on experience.
✔You will automatically be enrolled in our pension scheme, with an opt out clause if required.
✔All required tools and PPE will be supplied.
