Game #4
Win #3
Back to our winning ways this week.
A game that could have gone either way but we stayed strong right to the final whistle.
Players player was Jane Dixon and Player of the Match was Sarah Hart. Well played to both of you💪🏻

Just a week late, with this post but here goes…
Game #3
Loss #1
It was a tough morning. We had to make the decision to postpone or play outdoors (yes ‘OUTDOORS’).
As we were all there, ready for our 9.30am start, we chose to play OUTDOORS!!
I think we can safely say we won’t be doing that again!!
We faught hard but the result didn’t go our way.
Players Player went to Jane Dixon🥳and Player of the match was Sarah Redfern🥳. Well done both of you 💪🏻

Game #2 = Win #2 🥳🥳
A great team effort from the 10 of us that were available. 2 of whom were poorly 😷 🤒🤧
I think the 2nd photo sums us up pretty well. The end of the 1st quarter, the score was 9-9, but we were so happy our ‘official photographer’ (sorry I can’t tag you Warner) took a selfie🤳😁
POM went to Michelle Lewis🥳 ‘the one with the amazing tan’ and PP was Sophie Warner🥳 (almost unanimously). Well deserved by them both 🥇🥇

The start of a new season.
In a new Division.
Well done FUNsion for starting as we, hopefully, will continue.
Players Player went to Jane Dixon - continuing where she left off, at the end of last season. And POM went to Sarah Hart.

Our final game of the season and it was a tough one, against Easton Cowgirls.
However, we managed to come away with the win (and a few scratches for some of our team), but they didn’t make it easy for us💪🏻🥳
Players player was a 3 way tie with Meg Collett, Hellen Gilmore and Sarah Carr getting 3 votes each. Player of the match also went to Sarah, she, deservedly, got the double tonight🥳🥳
The last League matches are being played on Saturday and the League Tables should be out soon after that.
Watch this space for some exciting news - when we receive them…

An amazing win, for our penultimate game yesterday🥳 and what a final quarter💪🏻
PoM went to Hellen Gilmore 👏🏻and PP went to Jo Maxwell👏🏻. Both are defenders and, with just one goal being scored, in the last quarter, by Sodbury - they were well deserved💪🏻💪🏻
Just one more game to play, on Thursday evening. Update to follow….
01/02/2022
Our opponents conceded our match last Saturday. Due to being unable to raise a team😔
Of course, that means we get the win🥳 but it would have been good to have played, as we’ve only got one match in February😳
Be back with an update after that game…

A tough game yesterday, against Almondsbury🥵
As you can see - it was a highly contested game that, unfortunately, didn’t go our way😔
HUGE congratulations to Jane Dixon who was awarded the ‘double bubble’ Players Player and Player of the Match🥳
This followed a very successful night for her, at our ‘Fusion Social’, at Flight Club🎯. Where she was the overall winner - without even being there🤷♀️
Thoughts now move to next week, when we WILL be back to our winning ways💪🏻
Gooooooooo FUNSION……..

Not the start we wanted, for the 2nd half of the season BUT we didn’t lose😅
A really tough game, against Frampton, where the score kept swinging either way😬
Player of the Match went to Su Chung and Players Player was a 4 way tie this week between Su, Jo Maxwell, Jane Dixon and Cat Malins.
Well deserved by them all.
The whole team, and bench, managed to ‘smile and wave’, through the whole match😁👋🏻. Which was really hard, at some points😳🙄
09/01/2022
Our first game of 2022, half way through the season, and another solid win😁
An ‘all round’ team performance. Which is, definitely, one of our strengths💪🏻
Player of the Match went to Cat Malins with Players Player, being highly contested this week, going to Cat Malins AND Jo Maxwell
Cat for her amazing (gazelle like) skills at WD and Jo for stepping up and playing, out of position, in the shooting D - though she certainly didn’t look out of position🤩
A full January, of Saturday matches, awaits us. 🤞🏻 the success continues…
