Scrapstore Play Services recognise that play is every child’s right, and vital for human development and wellbeing.

Our Scrapstore play team offers support to schools, early years settings, play organisations and other organisations looking to be more playful, through the delivery of training, auditing, consultancy and loose parts provision. We strive to create the best possible play opportunities for children and young people. Our aim is to raise the profile of play, and enhance play opportunities for children

We had such a great time opening this Scrapstore PlayPod!

There has been collaborative, mixed age play across lunchtime which has been a joy for staff to see! Creative and imaginative play as we would expect from loose parts - open the PlayPod & let the children do the rest! Thank you Roundhill Primary!

Do you believe play is important?

Would you like to support the improvement of play in schools and the community?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team, supporting Children’s Scrapstore to improve play opportunities in the community, schools, early years and play settings. This busy and varied role includes directly delivering play session in the community, mentoring school staff, and supporting adults predominantly in a school setting, solving logistical playground issues, giving feedback or recommendations, and writing reports. The role will also involve some administration duties based in the office.

Please note, this job requires a full driving license to be held for at least 2 years, and the applicant must be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.
