Results from yesterday’s county league games.

It was 1st v 2nd in Prem 2 with Weston Bath ‘A’ the visitors.
A win would guarantee us promotion to Prem 1 only 3 years after entering the league. A 12-0 win would virtually sow up the title.

Rink 4 gained a high scoring win which virtually ensured we got the overall win.

Rink 5 were tight all the way through and were 4 shots down after 15 ends but picked up 8 shots in the last 3 ends to win their rink.

Rink 6 while never behind were only picking up 1s. They had a wobble in the middle with the visitors picking up 5 shots in 2 ends. But managed to get the mat back & win the game.

With Taunton Deane not getting a maximum 12-0 win means we win our 3rd title in 3 years and gaining our 3rd promotion to the top division.

In Div 2 East our ‘B’ team welcomed Alexandra to St Anne’s. A win would secure the title in our first season.

We managed to gain a 10-2 win.

A great season for the B team who are made up of experienced & relatively new bowlers.

With one game to go both teams are still unbeaten.

It’s been a great achievement for the club securing 4 league titles between both teams in 3 years.

With the season nearly coming to its conclusion for competitive games apart for challenging for 5 league titles.

Max Dixon, Sam Loft, Ryan Morgan & Kyran Davis have reached the semi final and face a 4 from Bradley Stoke.

We have two teams in the semi final stage of the Competition. And it’s an all St Anne Park affair.
Kyran Davis & Ryan Morgan will play Phil Davis & Kev Hazell for a place in finals day on Saturday 12th September

Not a good night at the office on a hot sticky evening. The home side certainly made home advantage count but we were not good enough on the night.
We still need 2 points to secure the league after Avonvale won 10-0 at 3rd place Redland Green.

We were awarded the game due to reasons out of our control. A win next week should confirm our Div 2 status for next season.

Congratulations to our Ladies team who this evening secured promotion to Div 2 next season after a 6-2 win at Page Park.
Unfortunately we didn’t secure the league which will go down to the last game of the season away to Olveston ‘C’. Any kind of point will be enough.
