Tomorrow we return to cup competitions.

The men’s team travel to Knowle @ 10am to play the first round of the Clarence Davey Trophy.

We finished runners up last season but know we face a tough game tomorrow.

Our ladies team play their first ever game in the Bowls England Top Club

They travel to St Andrews (Weston). Slightly different format to the men’s version with only 4 disciplines with no 2 wood singles being played.

We welcomed Winscombe to St Anne’s in game which started in light rain which then proceeded to get heavier as the game went on.

Both Captains proceeded to call a halt to the game with St Anne’s in a healthy position after winning both singles and up on the other 3 rinks.

Thank you to Winscombe for staying after despite the atrocious conditions.

A massive thank you both singles markers Graham Davis (2 Wood) & Nick Cassell (4 Wood). To be fair Nick got the brunt of the weather & was still smiling.

Today we hosted The Somerset Bowls Association Juniors finals.

There was some fantastic bowls to watch throughout the day.
