🎾 WEEK 3 RESULTS ARE IN! 🎾

What a massive week of tennis for our 6 men’s and 3 women’s squads! The men’s side absolutely tore it up, while our ladies faced some incredibly tough battles against top-tier opposition.

Here is the full breakdown from the courts:

🔥 The Men's Squads Clean Up
Men's 1st: A flawless victory! Taking a massive 10-0 win against David Lloyd Westbury 2.

Men's 2nd: A dominant display, securing an 8-2 win over Bath 2.

Men's 4th: A brilliant, hard-fought 6-4 win against Greville Smyth.

Men's 3rd, 5th, & 6th: Faced some brutal matchups this week, coming away with 10-0 losses—but we bounce back next week!

💔 A Tough Round for the Women
Our 3 women's teams left everything on the courts against some seriously strong line-ups.

Women's 1st & 2nd: Both fought hard but came away with 8-2 losses.

Women's 3rd: A tough 10-0 loss, but the score lines don't reflect the epic deuce games!

Friday Night Lights & Tennis Results! 🎾✨

Our teams were out in full force this Friday. It was a tough night for some, but a brilliant showcase of effort across the board. Here is how the scorecards settled:

💪 The Wins

Mens 1st smashed it with an impressive 8-2 win! 🏆

Mens 4th & 5th both dug deep for fantastic 6-4 victories!

🔥 The Hard-Fought Battles

Womens 1st, 2nd, & 3rd all put up a fight but unfortunately came away with 8-2 losses. We'll bounce back next week, ladies!

Mens 6th pushed hard in a tight 6-4 loss.

Mens 2nd & 3rd faced some incredibly tough opposition, falling 10-0.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to play and support. Win or lose, we love the competitive spirit of this club! On to the next one. 🕒🎾

🎾 Big Win for the Squad! 🎾
Huge congratulations to the team for a stellar performance in the National Club League! We secured a hard-fought 8-4 victory against Clevedon. The energy was high, and the tennis was even higher.

Here are the highlights from the match:

🌟 Singles Standouts
Ian Matthews was in clinical form, delivering a "double bagel" masterpiece with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Absolute perfection on the court!

Greg showed incredible grit and composure, dominating the first set and then slamming the door in a tight second-set tiebreak to win 6-0, 7-6.

🤝 Doubles Redemption
After some tough battles in the singles, Clement and Louie bounced back in style to help seal the overall victory:

Clement & Ian: A powerhouse pairing that took care of business with a 6-3, 7-5 win.

Louie & Milo: Partnering up with our resident doubles specialist, Milo, Louie helped navigate a high-pressure match to win 7-6, 6-4.

Mixed results on the courts this weekend, but the team spirit remains undefeated! 🎾📷

The Big Winners:
A massive shoutout to our Women’s 1st and 2nd teams, and our Men’s 6th team! They all secured fantastic 6-4 victories in some incredibly competitive match-ups. Way to hold serve and finish strong! 🙌✨

The Hard Lessons:
It wasn't our day across the rest of the draw. The Men’s 1s, 2s, and 3s went down 8-2, while our other teams faced some very tough opposition, ending in 10-0 losses.

Despite the scorelines, we saw some great rallies and sportsmanship out there. We win as a team and we learn as a team. Time to hit the buckets of balls and come back stronger next round! 👊💥
