I had a photo shoot a few weeks ago with the lovely and super talented I've struggled to post these, but you know when you see a photo of yourself and you think , 'yeah I like that, that's me' well that's how I feel about these. I've nothing profound to share nothing to sell or tell you about. But this is me. Thank you Charlie for these beautiful images 🙏 ❤️

My teaching

How would I describe my teaching... although pretty much a newbie to teaching Yoga only 18 months. I have taught dance and creative movement for several decades. Dancing from an early age I trained at Laban conservatoire and set up and run a community Dance Centre in Abergavenny for 25 years, the Centre is still thriving

Movement has been in my body heart and soul always ❤️

My classes are slow, mindful, simple and accessible based on the hatha of style of Yoga and my background in dance. No advanced poses but at times challenging, because that's part of the journey.

Grounding and warm-ups are long, there's some flowing sequences and always a long savasana. I use music I don't do hands-on system unless something looks dangerous lots of hands-on of assists in my restorative classes though. I do a mixture of demonstrating and watching using verbal cues I like to offer times where I do nothing no demonstration no verbal cues, encouraging people to follow their own body and breath and trust themselves ease moments are magical ✨

My core values:
⭐️ Presence - I offer a calm grounded attention so you feel truly supported.

⭐️Safety- creating a safe space where you can soften trust and let go.

⭐️Intuition - tailoring each session to the people in front of me their bodies and their energy.

⭐️Connection- grounding you back to breath body inner awareness.

⭐️Compassion- meeting you exactly where you are without judgement.

⭐️ Balance - supporting harmony between effort and ease.

My aim is to create a space to reconnect with yourself and find a little peace in your day

If this resonates with you 🥰 you can find me weekly I also run retreats links in bio

Thanks for reading 🙏❤️⭐️

Wait for the wobble at the end 🫣🤣😊

I'm not a note taking person. I like to feel sequences in my body. My physical memory is infinitely better than my brain memory (even before the sweetness of menopause kicked in)😊. I have a little video library of sequences to support my teaching. Here's one speeded up.

Wait for the wobble at the end 😊🤣🫣

I'm not a note taking person, I like to feel sequences in my body. My physical memory is infinitely better than my brain memory (even before the sweetness of menopause kicked in🤣) So I keep a little video library of sequences as an aid to my teaching, which I personally find really helpful. Here's a speeded up version of a little sequence play.

There are around 43 muscles in the face, like the muscles around the whole body, these small muscles can get stressed and tired, causing headaches, jaw pain and neck pain.

Facial massage can really help to ease that tension build up and improve circulation. It also feels amazing, deeply soothing and nurturing.

I make my own face oil, with oils that target inflammation, hydration and boots elasticity and cell rejuvenation. So next time you get a massage why not include your face. ❤️
