I hope you are all keeping well.
Unfortunately I do not have good news.
After the ongoing situation with social distancing etc I have spoken to the pool owner who has decided to no longer rent the pool out for hire.
This leaves me with no pool and I have already made enquiries at other sites but, as restrictions are still in place, everyone needs all the pool space they can get, obviously.
I’m really sad but needed to let you all know so you can try and find lessons elsewhere if you haven’t already.
So for now there will be no more ‘Love To Swim’. 🥲
I want to thank you all so much for your support and bringing your lovely swimmers along. It has been a pleasure and I’m gutted I can’t get them all back swimming. Please keep encouraging them to Love Swimming.
If anything changes in the future I will post/be in touch. Never say never!
Take Care

Hello All.
I hope you are all well and getting through this strange year. Sorry for the lack of posts but as I had no updates I just replied to a few messages here and there.
Unfortunately it’s not good news. Although pools can reopen from next week, there are still strict guidelines on social distancing and no use of changing areas etc.
As the pool is in a residential property I can’t implement some of the guidance. Also we have limited space and only one entrance/exit so we can’t follow the guidance. We would need to wait for swimmers to dry and dress before the next ones could come in to limit passing and this just isn’t feasible as it would eat into teaching times and limit spaces.
We would also need to distance in the pool which again would limit capacity and make things very difficult.
So unfortunately I have to make to decision not to return at present. I am still hopeful that the guidelines will relax much more in the coming months so I’m definitely not saying never! I am also looking at other pool options but I’m guessing this will be even more limited than usual as everyone will need more space.
I do understand that many people have or will look elsewhere for lessons and however much I don’t want that to happen, I would also encourage any options to get the children back into a pool and get them swimming and enjoying water again. This is the most important thing as lots of them will have lost confidence.
If anything changes I will update.
Thank you for all your continued support and I’m sorry it’s not the update lots we’re hoping for.
Take care
Sophie and Love To Swim Team
I would like to take this time to wish all my lovely swimmers and their families a very Merry Christmas.
Please keep yourselves and loved ones safe and well.
I have been so sad that we have not been able to teach since March but safety has to come first.
Myself and the team would love to return in 2021 but we just have to wait and see what happens in this crazy world.
As soon as I have any update or plans I will be in touch with everyone with the option to return but I just can’t give a date as yet I’m afraid.
Here’s to a happy and healthy 2021 🤞
Sophie & Love To Swim Team x
All current swimmers due to start next week have been sent a text. If you haven’t received this please contact me ASAP
If you have not received a text from me today on the update of lessons please text me.
Please bear with me on replying as I have had lots of messages!
Hi all
Just an update to say I have a meeting tomorrow so will hopefully have more of a plan on use of the pool after this.
Once I know details of how we can continue safely I will contact everyone ASAP
Hope everyone is safe and well.
Our swimmers are missed!
We have had an update from Swim England on some operational guidelines but these are subject to change depending on the Government’s advice, which we hope will come soon.
Once we have this we can assess our pool and options on how we can safely proceed with lessons.
Due to the size of our space this could propose some logistical issues with social distancing etc but, as we know this could all change over the next week or two so will again update as soon as we have more information again!
Sorry for the lack of information I can give at this time but bit of a waiting game!
Keep safe
Sophie x
Hope you are all well.
We are awaiting an update due on 15th June on guidance on how swimming and lessons could return.
We then need to think about and plan how this will work for us.
Once we know more we will be in touch will all current swimmers first and then new enquires as we are able.
Safety will be our priority
Take care for now
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well
