⚠️ Important Update - Please Read

We're having a brand new roof installed over the existing one to stop leaks and improve the lighting and insulation throughout the building.

The work will take place from mid-July until the end of August. We'll be doing everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum and will keep this post, our Stories and the notice boards in the centre updated as the project progresses.

Closures & Disruption

Flashpoint
Monday 13th July: Closed all day.
Tuesday 14th July: Open from 5:00pm.
Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th July: Limited access to the right-hand side of the centre.
Thursday 16th – Wednesday 22nd July: Some climbing areas in the main part of the centre will be temporarily sectioned off at different times while work takes place.

Clip 'n Climb
Monday 13th – Friday 17th July: Closed.

The initial disruption is to allow us to install a protective safety net beneath the roof before the main works begin. That way, in the unlikely event thst anything is dislodged during construction, it'll be caught by the netting rather than ending up on you, the mats or the climbing walls.

Once the new roof is complete, we'll have a similar (but hopefully much less disruptive!) period while the netting is removed... before finishing things off by installing the shiny new signs on the front of the building.

New Setting Zones ⚡

The plan may change slightly over the next few sets, but this is looking like it'll be our new main setting layout.

We've combined several of the smaller, single-person setting areas into larger zones, with two or three setters working together. The overall rotation will stay much the same, but larger areas will be refreshed at once, meaning less disruption from lots of small closures.

Lots to get at this July!

The Top Out is being reset today, and after that we're moving onto a new setting rota, with slightly larger zones being reset at a time.
