Lucy’s Favourite Pose Series… 25 pigeon pose
A fabulous hip stretch. From kneeling, bring your right leg forward, bend at the knee and place your foot towards your groin. If you have tight hips, stick with 90/90 pose (ie back left leg is bent). For full pigeon, straighten the back leg. For both poses, keep your hips level and facing forward. If your hips are up for it, fold forward onto forearms.
Want some more? Try a quad stretch - bend the left back leg, and gently pull the foot towards your bottom with your left hand. From here you can play with going into full mermaid!
Now… do the other side!

MONDAY MOTIVATION! Thanks Snoopy, I completely agree! Which one are you today?
JUST BEND YOUR KNEES!
The key to a forward fold is lifting from the hips and bottom - as long as you can feel the stretch up the back of your legs it doesn’t matter how bent those knees are folks!
Any other teachers out there who can relate?! And anyone got any tips on better cues I can use to explain myself?
