This week in the garden 🌱✨
We got hands-on planting broad beans — some in soil, some in a plastic bag (science experiment pending 👀) to see which ones thrive best! We also put celery in coloured water to watch transpiration in action (science + gardening = perfect combo 🔬🌿).
We checked in on our planter, tackled some weeding and watering, and made serious progress on our scarecrow… almost there!
And of course, we may have stumbled across a little something that looked suspiciously like Shrek’s swamp 👀😉
Learning, growing, and getting just a little bit muddy along the way 💚🌿

Tiny wins in the garden this week 🌱✨
We checked on our plants and spotted new leaves shooting through — progress! 🌿 We also planted our own sunflowers 🌻 to see whose will grow the tallest (friendly competition is ON 😄), and wrapped up the day with a team meeting and some seriously good food 🍽️💛

The last day of HAF was filled with a day of cooking and baking! As an organisation championing nerurodivergence, allowing children to see and feel all the different textures of ingredients that go into making their yummy food is so important and encourages participation and trying out healthier options.

Future Pages headed to Birmingham today with an exciting mission: supporting our young people to become Handball Activators! 🏐✨

A full day of learning new skills, building confidence, and having plenty of fun along the way… all topped off with a well-earned hearty meal 🍽️💪
