Planned Closure
We will be closing the gym at 8am on Wednesday 3rd August and reopening at 8am on Friday 5th of August.
This clossure allows our engineers to complete works that they are unable to do so whislt we are open, this inludes and is not limited to Aircon service, water systems cleaned and serviced, equipment service, remedial repairs and maintenance works.
During this period you will have access to Bristol Longwell Green (3rd August) and Bristol Avonmeads (4th August).

From tomorrow, when you first open The Gym Group app, you may be required to re-enter your email and PIN Number to log in and access its features, including using the app for contactless entry.
You will receive PIN reminders via email so please keep an eye out for those!

We've stocked up on some sanitary products, hair bands and clips for our female members.
We understand how frustrating it can be so wanted to help relieve some of that. Please make sure you only take them if you need them so we can make sure there's enough to go around.

Frida has made this chest and shoulder program to get your midweek pump!
We've got some heavy single sets topped off with a shoulder finishing superset.
A1 Barbell Bench Press 5 x 5
B1 Barbell Standing Overhead Press 4 x 3-5
C1 Dumbbell Incline Chest Press 4 x 3-5
D1 Cable Chest Flyes 3 x 8-10
E1 Dumbbell Lateral Raise 3 x 10-12
E2 Plate Front Raise x 3 x 10-12
These ranges are mainly focusing on strength building, so give them a go, tag us up and let us know your numbers!

This weeks workout of the week is bought to you by
Dan has put together a simple yet effective EMOM consisting of the Ski Erg, Air bike and the rowing machine.
Set your clock for 20 mins and use the following machines until you hit the set calories within a minute and then move onto the next piece of kit
A1. 8-12 calories skit erg
B1. 8-12 calories air bike
C1. 8 -12 calories rowing machine
D1. Rest
EMOMs (every minute on the minute) are an excellent way to get volume in your training without over exerting yourself.
Be careful though, go off too quickly in the first couple of rounds and you will suffer towards the end.
