It's a very busy start to the week at CMS Engineering Services Ltd.
The start of a lovely new project in Wiltshire begins with all groundworks reinforcing material being delivered to site today.
Prefabricated cages, Mesh and all accessories.
From groundworks to roof, we've got you covered!
CMS will be supplying and installing all elements of this project.
A large steel frame, complete with Mezzanine floor, Staircase and all cladding.
Fully surveyed, detailed and all completed in house.
Further updates to come as the project progresses.

A very good client of ours required 30 tonne of steel work for the roofs of two new apartment blocks near Birmingham. The package included the complete supply & installation of all structural steelwork & timber. With full detailing and surveying included.
Yes! we even did the timber in-house too!
This enabled us to offer a complete one stop service to our client saving them valuable time & money on site with no need for additional tradesmen.

Due to our continued growth and planned expansion, we have an urgent requirement for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our current team at CMS Engineering Services Ltd.

Reporting directly to the Foreman and Director, the ideal candidate for the Fabricator / Welder role will already have experience within a similar role.

Fabricator / Welder: Key Duties

• Be confident & responsible for producing high quality steel fabrications.
• Welding of mild steel. Primary & secondary steels for the construction industry. Structural Steelwork, Gates & Railings.
• The ability to read interpret structural & engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to carry out site work when required.
• Be able to work on your own initiative.
• Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
• Good team working abilities.
• Ensure a high level of quality is maintained at all times.
• Competent in using associated plant & machinery.
• Comply with all company health & safety procedures, approvals and accreditations at all times.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 07:00am to 16:00pm
12:00pm finish on Fridays
Overtime available at x 1.5

C M S Engineering Services Ltd are delighted to be working with The University of Bristol and SoFSI: The UKCRIC Soil-Foundation-Structure Interaction Laboratory for another project.
Working to an extremely tight tolerance in places of just -0/+1mm
C M S produced this fully fabricated 4m x 3m frame. Consisting of 254x254x107 UC's, 260 x 75 PFC's & various plate thicknesses up to 30mm.
A considerable amount of welding was involved in this frame due to the amount of stiffeners and the strength required of the finished product.
Once all sections were assembled and bolted down to a shaking table the frame was required to be within 1mm of its required position.
C M S Engineering Services Ltd completed this job spot on.

Warehouse Operative (Trainee or Experienced)
Operating saws, drills, punch, guillotine, brake press etc
Taking charge of incoming deliveries
Full training will be given to the right candidate.
No experience necessary, a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

Monday to Friday - 07:30am to 16:00pm
15:00pm finish on Fridays
