I have a lot of empathy for the coaches out there.
Not only are they sometimes asked to juggle 17 plates, while doing lots of work they may not be appropriately paid for, but they also sometimes are asked to predict the future or read minds.

The reality is that no coach will know what comes down the road, what an athlete is thinking, or the 'best' strategy forward.

Like everyone else, they are doing the best they can with the tools they have.

For parents, athletes, and others involved, I think we have to keep this in mind at all times.
