Windsurfing is the sport for sociable people looking for a long-lasting challenge. UBWC is the club to join whether you are a seasoned windsurfer or have never seen a board in your life. We run regular trips for everyone: absolute beginner, wave and freestyle windsurfers and anything in between! As well as all the fantastic windsurfing, we run at least one social a week. From a quiet cheese and w**e evening or drink in the pub to three-legged fancy dress pub-golf marathons, there's more fun to be had out of the water. Our pride and joy: SWA events. These combine the world's best sport with parties of epic proportions, and students from all over the UK.

📍 Llandegfedd Reservoir, near Cardiff
Never windsurfed before? Perfect. Kit and coaching are provided, so total beginners are welcome. Expect a weekend on the water, racing, and two big nights out in Cardiff (fancy dress on Saturday 👀).

RUBIK’S CUBE SOCIAL 🟥🟧🟨🟩🟦⬜

Our first joint social with Bristol University Kitesurfing Society is a Rubik’s cube pub crawl!

The rules:
1. Wear 6 items of clothing, one in each Rubik’s cube colour: white, yellow, red, orange, blue and green
2. Only wear things you don’t mind swapping or losing, because they won’t all be coming home with you

We recommend a trip to the charity shops beforehand for cheap pieces in all six colours.
