This year’s AGM will be held at the Den and Terrace starting from 6:30pm. Committee applications are open until Wednesday 15th at 12pm! - form in the whatsapp group. Come along to meet your committee for next year and awards will be revealed. Social after so pizzas will be present 🫡

FIGHT NIGHT 2026 LINEUP 🥊

This year’s card has been set and our fighters are ready to put on a show after many months of hard work. Our friends from Birmingham, UCL, Cardiff and Nottingham will be joining to make it a night to remember!!

For our last social of the year, this Friday we will embark on a pub crawl joined by Bjj, Muay Thai and Taekwondo to celebrate the festive season. Starting at Steam at 8pm with many stops along the way! Come along in your christmas jumpers and blow off exam season stress. Merry Christmas !!! Xx

This Thursday we take to the wonderful Den & Terrace at 8pm to conquer yet another evening of shenanigans
This is our first social in a couple weeks, so lets make it a good one!! (Friends are welcome). The theme is ‘Dress for the wrong occasion’ so please grace us with pieces from your wardrobe that do not make sense for a society social. Bonus points for training attire because you never know when a spontaneous session can arise

We are very excited to announce that for this week’s social we will be hosting a watch party of UFC 321 Aspinall vs Gane this Saturday 25th at Green House opposite college green. As the main card begins at 7pm we’ll aim to get there for around 6:45, so make sure to get there soon enough to get a seat. There will also be free pizza if there wasn’t enough incentive to come already!! Hope to see you there x

Once again we are joined by BJJ for a chill evening at the world renowned White Bear tomorrow night @7:30pm.

Come along for a pint and a chat with the rest of the society 🍺

We do have training the next day but we will keep it quiet if you wander into the triangle to see the remanants of The Ibiza final boss

Duncan will be the main person to turn to and often the face you will see most often around MMA this year, so do make yourself known to him

Duncan’s Interview:

Course?- Maths and Computer Science

Experience?- 5 years MMA

Style?- Mixed Martial Arts

Best Moment in MMA?- Walking out to my first interclub and seeing my dad and brother cheering in the audience

How did you get into MMA?- I wanted to get fitter and start a sport and was always interested in Martial Arts. I didn’t know anything about MMA except for playing the UFC games at a mates house once. I joined my nearest gym and never looked back

So there we have the captain of our society who just decided to pick up a new sport, so if your on the fence about joining, be sure to come along to one of our give it a go events over the next few weeks and… give it a go!

Duncan is here for everyone this year and I know in my experiences he’s incredibly approachable and generous with his help
