Joe was up next!

We’re also incredibly proud of Joe.

Joe has always questioned his own fitness and boxing ability, but today he took a massive step forward. He stayed in the pocket, let his hands go, finished strong and, most importantly, believed in himself. 💪🥊

He didn’t get the decision today, but honestly, it feels like a win for the whole team watching how much Joe has improved over the summer.

The confidence, work rate and belief he showed today were fantastic to see. Keep going, Joe — this is just the beginning! 👊🔥

🥊 Chesney was up first today!

Taking on a very tough lad with double the experience, Chesney put on a real show and showed incredible grit, determination and heart to give Mason a hard time.

We’re incredibly proud of Chesney.

Today’s result may not have gone his way, but he’ll take this experience, learn from it and come back stronger.

Well done to Mason on the win, and we wish him all the best moving forward in his developments. 🥊👏

The BP team are down here ready to host day 2 of the Western counties development semi finals 🥊 we would like to wish all boxers involved the best of luck, especially our very own broad plain boxers who will be fighting today 💪🏼

Getting the Sports Hall ready for the Development Championships – Western Counties.

This venue steeped in history, where so many champions have taken their first steps — and where, who knows, the next generation of champions will be discovered.

Busy night at Broadplain tonight! 💪🥊

Not only did we have our boxing session from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, but Ricki also put the lads from Bitton AFC through a full fitness session as they prepare for the 2026/27 season.

Nothing was left behind — just hard work, determination, and pushing beyond perceived limits. One thing we always say: the mind will give up before the body does. Believing in yourself and trusting that you've got more in the tank is key.

Fantastic effort from everyone involved tonight. 👏🔥
