Just 11 days until we will be taking on the challenge of playing five consecutive hours of 5‑a‑side football to raise money for Fry’s Comets, our pan‑disability team, and to support the women’s team ahead of the 2026/27 season.

We played our last game of the causal league season this afternoon.

It was a good start from both teams, but Lily whites scored a header to go 1-0 up. From the restart, Frys pressed high and a lovely passage of play saw Jess find Claire to make it 1-1.

With rain lashing down, we went into the second half as a draw. Lily whites scored a second goal for 2-1 and then scored another to make it 3-1. Frys continued to press but the game ended 3-1.

POTM goes to Tara who did the whole game in goal and made some crucial finger tip saves to keep us in the game 🧤💙

Fry Club Women will be taking on the challenge of playing five consecutive hours of 5‑a‑side football to raise money for Fry’s Comets, our pan‑disability team, and to support the women’s team ahead of the 2026/27 season.

This years fundraiser holds special meaning. In line with the wishes of Keira’s family, the funds raised will be split 50/50 between the women’s team and Fry’s Comets in memory of Keira.

Keira was a cherished member of Fry’s Comets. Her kindness, energy, and love for the game touched everyone around her. The money raised will help support the club she loved, keeping her spirit alive with every bit of football played and with every child who joins the team.

Fry’s Comets provide a safe, welcoming space for disabled children aged 5–11 to begin their football journey. They offer an inclusive environment where children can learn and grow, build friendships, and develop confidence both on and off the pitch.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us honour Keira’s memory and continue the work we all believe in — making football a place for everyone.

The other half of the money raised will go to our women’s section, where numbers continue to grow across our 3 teams, (11-a-side, casuals and over 35s). The money will be used for new equipment and for pitch hire in the winter months so that training can continue even when the weather isn’t on our side 💙

A massive thank you to Keynsham Lesuire Centre for allowing us to use their sports hall for our event🤩

GCWFL Division 4 Champions 2025/26 🏆💙

What a season it’s been, we’re still absolutely buzzing!

16 wins from 18 games, 82 goals scored, and 7 clean sheets kept ⚽️🧤

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors this season. Your support has helped us massively both on and off the pitch, and we truly appreciate the support💙

To our supporters, thank you for backing us week in, week out, especially through some very questionable weather conditions earlier in the season! Your support never goes unnoticed💙

And finally, thank you to our coaches Joe & Brad, our club captain Char and everyone else at Fry Club Women, who have worked so hard behind the scenes and given up so much of their own time to keep our club running smoothly👏🏻⚽️💙

UTF, CHAMPIONS💙🏆

What an excellent morning of football, our over 35s took on the OGs and came away with a 5-2 win.

Today was a real strong team performance, with outstanding individual performances across the whole pitch.

POTM was very hard to choose today but it went to Danielle, on her debut who was absolutely solid at the back and who also made some great runs forward💙
