A very hot but great day at our home tournament🥵⚽️💙

All 3 of our teams did fantastic in their groups, which ended in a all Frys final in the plate where Loaded Frys beat the Waffle Frys 1-0⚽️💙

A great afternoon at Downend Flyers FC tournament to kick the tournament season off 💙🩷🖤

What a great day we had at our annual charity tournament yesterday!⚽️💙

Our ladies, coaches and younger players from across the club completed 5 hours of non stop 5-a-side football to raise money for Frys comets, our inspiring pan-disability football team as well as the women’s section ahead of the 2026/27 season👏🏻

In accordance with the wishes of Keira’s family, every penny raised will be split 50/50 between the Women’s Team and Fry’s Comets, in loving memory of Keira.

Keira was a much loved member of Fry’s Comets. Her kindness, infectious energy and passion for football touched everyone she met. The funds raised will help support the club she loved, ensuring her legacy lives on through every match played and every child who pulls on a shirt to enjoy the beautiful game🩷

It was a brilliant game of football, thank you to everyone who played, helped organise, baked sweet treats and donated.

Congratulations to the black team who were the overall winners of the the tournament👏🏻⚽️
