New roof in St George, Bristol

This roof was in urgent need of repair and was leaking badly.

The old clay tiles, felt and rotten battens were removed.

New breathable felt and treated battens were laid. Finished off with these Redland farmhouse red tiles and a breathable dry ridge.

New lead work and rendering too.

Garden gym in Bath

More work carried out recently on our ongoing project in Bath

We recently finished the blockwork and then completed the roof.
This beautiful glulam beam was installed so we could completely vault the ceiling, also leaving an overhang on the front elevation.

The roof was then felt, battened and tiled to finish off.

Working alongside S. Baber Carpentry on this.

Driveway widened today in Hunstrete.

This grass verge was untidy and very muddy making it tight and difficult to get out of the car. The soil was removed, w**d membrane was laid with type 1 scalping compacted on top.

All finished off with some chard flint

The old stonework and coal stove was removed and new rendering was laid to prepare the walls.

New granite hearth was laid and then brick slip tiles including this traditional herringbone detail at the back.

Oak beam installed by S. Baber Carpentry and finished off with this lovely stove.

Lots more to come from this living room.

Brick paved driveway in Winterbourne.

This customer had an old shed on the driveway when they purchased this property which they soon removed leaving a very unsightly corner of their driveway.

We patched this area back in now making it a much more usable space.

Few photo from this porch we extended in Pensford.

The left side of this porch was already in place but was very tight and not a usable space. Therefore we extended to the right and made a new doorway into the house.

Finished with a new roof and rendering to a terelean finish.

Few photos from this roofing job in Whitchurch

This roof was leaking badly and in urgent need of repair. We laid new breathable felt and new timber battens.

The existing tiles were reused to keep the original look of the roof and second hand ones were sourced to replace any broken ones

We also replaced all the facia/soffits and guttering/downpipes

Emerson’s Green patio

We built a new brickwork retaining wall finished with a brick on edge top giving a smart finish between the patio and grass area.

Then laid new Aco drains around the extension and new slabs to finish off the patio

The grass was then levelled out with fresh new soil and seeded
