⛔️KMAX CLOSED THURSDAY 13th AUGUST⛔️

Unfortunately I went to the hall to check the temperature and it’s already 30 degrees before we’ve even reached the hottest point of the day. Even just being stood in there was hot and stuffy. It’s not safe to run classes in that condition with little to no airflow.

This does unfortunately mean KmaX is now closed for the rest of the summer.
Classes resume on Thursday 3rd September!
Looking forward to months of classes, gradings and competitions before we hit Christmas!

Classes at KmaX tonight will be on but at a reduced level:

•5:30-6:15pm will be forms only- working on the demo for Saturday

•6:15-7pm - Kickboxing *PLEASE NOTE THE CHNAGE IN TIME AND ONLY A 45minute CLASS* this will be mainly focusing on grading material, almost no exercising🥋

Please let me know if you are planning to attend or not as if numbers are too short I will cancel🩵

Good morning everyone! Due to temperatures this week we will be closing KmaX both Monday and Thursday ☀️

Monday- Thursday this week will be 30 degrees plus 🥵everyday which is not safe to run exercises classes in a hall with little air flow.

TONIGHT- anyone competing on 5th July should still come in for forms practice ONLY. No exercises or conditioning. You will be taking in turns to run your forms as practice for the competition. This will be during the usual class time starting at 5:30pm. ⛔️NO OTHER CLASSES will be on. ⛔️

Hello everyone👋🏻

I have waited until today to make a decision on KmaX tonight, in the hope it would cool down enough. However, temperatures today are set to reach 28/29 degrees again.

I walked up to the school for 11:30 and took temperature readings of just the air in the entrance. I couldn’t get into the main hall as the fob was gone. Just in the entrance part with the door open the temperature was reading 32/33 degrees. The hall will be hotter and there’s no air flow even with doors opened.

I am unfortunately going to have to ⛔️CANCEL ⛔️classes tonight. It’s not safe to have kids and adults exercising in that temperature, with no air flow or breeze.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I want to keep everyone safe. See you all on Monday, hope all the kids have been enjoying half term 🩵

Reminder KmaX is CLOSED tonight as the coaches attend the funeral of Mark (Abbie’s dad).

We are also closed Monday as it is bank holiday ⛔️

⛔️KmaX CLOSURES⛔️

As some of you may be aware coach Abbie’s dad passed away suddenly at the start of April. His funeral will be NEXT Thursday (30th April).
To allow the coaches to attend and fully support Abbie, KmaX will be CLOSED next Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience but I hope you all understand.

We are also entering the month where there are TWO bank holiday Mondays🤦🏼‍♀️
KmaX will be closed:
Monday 4th May⛔️
Monday 25th May⛔️
As they are both bank holiday Mondays.
We will be open Thursday 28th May in the school holidays 🎉
