In 2021 in celebration of our 10th Anniversary and to truly represent the school as it is today we relaunched as the Ellie Wright School of Dance. Previous to that Coopers Edge Ballet School was and still is my dream come true, in September 2012 it opened its doors to the children of Cheltenham and Gloucester with the view of teaching dance in a fun and inspiring way and allowing each individual c

hild to flourish through a love of dance. We offer classes in Ballet (From Pre-School to adult), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Musical Theatre, Tap, Modern and Irish. We also offer adult classes of Stretch & Tone and ballet.

On Saturday we welcomed Miss Sofia to our team, she will be joining Miss Becki and Miss Lily on a Saturday, inspiring your children to learn.

Sofia joined our school family when she was 5 years old, it’s been wonderful to watch her journey. I’m so proud of her taking on this additional role within our school along with continuing her own training in ballet, tap and jazz. 💞

Highlights of the final few days of summer school.
Summer School Award winners, Teddy Bears Picnic, some party dances (inside as it was WAY TOO hot to be outside! 🥵) a teacher ice lolly upgrade! The happiest person I’ve ever seen to get a staple gun, dinner, some of our awesome seniors, Delilah, my incredibly talented team… and the cast of Shrek 2026!
