Brodick Golf Club, Isle of Arran Community amateur sports club for golf and social recreation located on the beautiful Isle of Arran.

Facilities include clubhouse with bar and catering faciliies, professional shop and practice area. Founded in 1897 Brodick Golf club enjoys spectacular views in which to play challenging golf and relax in the friendly atmosphere of a licensed clubhouse. The course is mainly flat and varies between parkland and seaside habitat with lots of exciting holes, some across water, graced by a range of wildlife.

Flag Competition - 16th Sept

Our final Wednesday of the season winner is Davie McKinnon. We look forward to seeing his handicap butchered in the near future.
Davie was presented the trophy by this years Summer Cup winner, Capt Nicol Hume.
Congratulations to both on a fine summers golf.

In a tight contest FJ wins. He got the better of Billy with good scores on last few holes. Matt one behind the leaders but picks up best scratch prize.

Story of the day was Studs ace at the 4th which rewards him with the lucky 2s pot… maybe not enough in there to cover his bar bill though!

Well the drinks were on Stud yesterday after his first hole in one at 69 years young on the 4th, 2 bounces and she disappeared! 🏌️‍♂️

Summer Cup 9th Sept - Results

After a few weeks with injury Kenny returned for the final round and topped the leaderboard. Harry and Sam close behind.
Ewan wins best scratch.
15th hole was lucky 2s hole, no winners so pot rolls over to next Wednesdays Flag Competition where the pot must be won!

The last round didn’t affect the outcome of the Summer Cup.
Ewan wins Summer Cup best gross.
Nicol wins Summer Cup net.
Matt Dobson wins the eclectic.
Matt Dobson and Matt Keir are still tied at the top of the Jinty Cup. One week left for either of them to add to their tally or they will share the prize.

Thanks to everyone that played in this seasons Summer Cup. The Flag competition is the final Wednesday fixture this season.

Tomorrow sees the final round of this seasons Summer Cup. Here are the current standings with one round to play…

All to play for in the 4 competitions.
Ewan leads the gross but Matt is more than capable of putting in another under par round and could still catch him.

Nicol holds a one shot lead over Matt D in the net competition. This is the one everyone wants to win! Looks like it’s a straight race between these 2.

In the Jinty to two Matt’s are tied at the top on 9.

In the Eclectic Ewan and Nog are chasing Matt D just 3 behind.

Tomorrow’s forecast looks good giving everyone a good opportunity to post a decent final score.

Kintyre Cup 2026 - Dunaverty Golf Club

The troops met early and left the clubhouse at 7am sharp. As we travelled through the wind and rain there were a few in the group regretting getting out of their beds early. However, the mood changed as we reached Dunaverty, the rain stopped and the sun came out. The wind persisted but made for good challenge on a lovely course.
With the round completed we enjoyed food and drink at the Black Bull pub in Campbeltown.
This years winner was Sam Tatts with a very impressive 38 points, 3 ahead of Sneaker and Fred.

Huge thanks go to Nicol for organising, Chris and Ray for driving and to all those that turned out for this year’s competition. It was a fantastic day.

Summer Cup 2nd Sept - Results

A tie at the top of the leaderboard with Nog just beating Fred with the better back nine. John in 3rd place. Nog came home in 29 shots for the best scratch with an excellent 66.
No winners of the lucky 2s pot, 8th hole picked.

Friday 4th Sept - Kintyre Cup 🏆
We are looking forward to playing Dunaverty Golf Club tomorrow. Please be at the clubhouse no later than 7:15am or the bus will leave without you!
