Another treasure has been added to my collection of Hungarian duelling literature.❤️‍🔥⚔️🇭🇺

This time, it is a work published in 1901: A kardpárbaj veszélytelen kimenetele és annak eshetőségei, written by First Lieutenant Zoltán Cseresnyés Felső-Eőri of the Royal Hungarian Hussars. The foreword was written by Baron Jenő Bothmer, Captain of Hussars.

It is a fascinating work that explores the mental, moral, and chivalric preparation for the sword duel, offering a remarkable insight into the values, honour, and mindset associated with duelling at the turn of the twentieth century.

New, old, and regular faces all together, we had a fruitful class.❤️‍🔥

This time our focus was on how to control the centre line and apply a few follow-up actions.

It’s always a challenge sparring with Alexander… so naturally, I keep looking for ways to make it even worse for myself.

This time, kindly let me wear his brigandine and shoulder plates—because clearly, what I needed was extra weight and less mobility.

Count happier? Maybe :D
More exhausted? Absolutely.
