Premier League.... you're having a laugh! 

Uni advance to the next round of the Bowl with an emphatic victory. Striking first on 14mins, through Luke Mac, from a Jamie Diamo through ball. But two mistakes in the next 10mins put us on the back foot, trailing 2-1. 

Momentum shifted again, and on 35mins Lambchop drove forward, found Cal Durkin who shot across goal into the bottom corner, to equalise! 2-2 

Veteran kebab muncher Mutch made a couple of decent saves to keep us in it. Half time 2-2

Second half, different story. Uni flew out of the blocks and on 49mins Lamby slapped a freekick in from 25yards. On 73 Ethan Brown got in on the act poking home a rebound from a Lamby effort.

Luke Mac applied the breathing space on 85, latching onto a through ball, kegging the keeper and slotting home. But we weren't done there, spud man junior Rushby rounded the keeper, off a Ketley through ball to complete the scoring .

Ki Heslop returned to the side, once again looking like Kofi Kingston, this time after a week on holiday and thought it would be a laugh to toe poke one into his own net after a few seconds. But Uni rallied and shortly after, Craggy T rounded the keeper to equalise.
A few minutes later, Ketley rose highest to nod over the keeper to put Uni 2-1 up...before deciding to gift Redcar their equaliser moments later with a sublime diving header. Own Goals ARE US!

HT 2-2

The second half was wayyyy better (no own goals), equally re****ed defensive play though!

Luke Mac deservedly put us 3-2 up after great play from Ethan brown. Before Damo made it 4-3, after probably the move of the game, capping a great performance in CM. And it was 5-3 shortly after when substitute Goose put one on a plate for Luke Mac, even he couldn't miss that 😂
Cal Durkin, fresh from coming off the bench, soon made it 6-3, firing in from the edge of the box after the gaffer set him up.

But... Uni had another chance to defend like Bonnie Blue at a gang bang, conceding 2 absolutely dog s**t goals to let Redcar back in.... 6-5 with 4 left. 🤯

It was then up to the Lamb Chop to put the game FINALLY to bed with a minute left, slamming an unreal free kick into the side netting.

FT 7-5

A good result, but a performance that can massively be improved on!
