Bromsgrove Golf Academy

Our Junior Mercian team began the defence of their Mercian League title on Saturday 16th May with an away fixture against a strong Gaudet Luce side. In challenging mixed weather conditions, Gaudet Luce came out on top, winning two matches and halving the third. 🏆

The team’s next fixture was another away match at Hagley Golf Club, where our juniors delivered an outstanding performance, winning all three matches on a beautiful day for golf. 👏

Congratulations to all the juniors who have represented the club so far, and a sincere thank you to Gaudet Luce and Hagley for their warm hospitality. ⛳️

We are delighted to have once again entered two teams into the 2026 Golf Sixes League. The league is designed to support younger juniors as they take their first steps onto the main golf course, competing in pairs Texas Scramble matches against a variety of golf clubs from across Worcestershire.

The opening fixture took place at Hagley Golf Club on Saturday 23rd May in glorious sunshine. It was a fantastic event, superbly hosted, and we would like to extend our thanks to James Green and everyone at Hagley Golf Club for organising such an enjoyable day. 🙌

The second fixture was hosted at home by Bromsgrove Golf Centre, where both leagues were played back-to-back during what proved to be a busy but brilliant weekend of junior golf. Our thanks go to Josh Thorpe for organising and hosting a successful home event. 🙏

After the opening two fixtures, our North-West Worcestershire League team currently sit in first place with 12 Order of Merit points, while our North-East Worcestershire League team are in third place with 8 Order of Merit points. 👏

A huge well done to all of the juniors who have taken part so far. We look forward to the upcoming fixtures and hope the fun, enjoyment, and enthusiasm continue throughout the season. ⛳️

⛳ Junior Leagues – Event 3 | Sunday 31st May 2026

Another fantastic turnout for Round 3 of our Junior Leagues, with 78 golfers competing across our four development leagues. It was great to see so many talented juniors out on the course, with some excellent scores recorded throughout the day 👏

A huge well done to every junior who took part, and thank you as always to all the parents and our Junior Committee for their continued support and encouragement.

What a glorious week of weather for our May Half Term Golf Camps! ☀️⛳

We’ve seen some amazing skills on display as the juniors work through a variety of golf games, challenges, and coaching activities — with a bit of footgolf thrown in for extra fun too! 👏

This week’s camps are now fully booked, but bookings for our Summer Holiday Golf Camps are officially open! Sessions will run every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday throughout the summer holidays.

Spaces are limited and tend to book up fast so please let us know if you’d like to reserve places.

One swing can change everything

Our latest Trackman Fan Challenge is here — and this one is built for pressure.

From today, May 22nd through to June 7th, players visiting our Trackman Range facility can take on the Cleeks Golf Club in the Cleeks: One Shot Challenge, in conjunction with LIV Golf Andalucía at Real Valderrama.

The setup is really simple: one target, one shot, no second chances.

Players will attempt to beat the best shot from Martin Kaymer, Richard Bland, Adrian Meronk and Victor Perez on one of Real Valderrama’s most demanding par 3s: the 6th hole.
It's even tougher as the pin is tucked behind a bunker with almost no room for error.

To participate, simply open Competitions and select Cleeks: One Shot Challenge. There’s no entry fee, but the heat is on.

Keep the kids entertained this half-term with a family trip to Edwards.
Bring them down to Edwards for a spot of lunch/ tea purchase a main course meal and receive a FREE Footgolf voucher.
Enjoy great food, fresh air, and family fun — and maybe even a little peace and quiet for yourself.

⛳ Junior Golf Leagues – Round 2 ⛳

On Sunday 10th May, we hosted the second round of our Junior Golf Leagues — and what a fantastic day it was! 🙌

With great golf, plenty of laughs, an incredible atmosphere, and even the weather on our side, it was another hugely successful event for our junior section.

We were delighted to welcome a record turnout of 88 players across the four leagues, with an amazing 104 juniors having now taken part across the opening two events. This is a huge achievement for the club and a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our junior committee, volunteers, and supporting families. 👏

It has been brilliant to see so many new faces getting involved, as well as watching players continue to develop and thrive as they progress through the leagues and new playing environments.💪

We are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic group of juniors and families creating such a positive and supportive atmosphere within our club.

What a fantastic evening we had at our first Nine & Dine event of the season with our Women’s Social Community on Thursday 7th May. ⛳✨

A total of 32 golfers took part in a fun 9-hole Texas Scramble on the main course before enjoying a lovely meal together in Edwards Bar & Restaurant.

With beautiful weather, great golf, plenty of laughs, and some excellent scoring throughout the evening, it was a wonderful way to kick off the season.

A huge thank you to everyone who played and to those who helped lead the teams — your support is always hugely appreciated.

A fantastic morning here at Bromsgrove Golf Centre, where we trained a brilliant group of young leaders to deliver a Tri Golf Festival for local school children.

We were lucky with the weather, and it was great to see so many impressive skills on display throughout the event.

Well done to everyone who took part—and a huge congratulations to Fairfield School for coming out on top! 🏆
