Knowing as little as I do about Facebook I have created this page for the group but really should have created a group also. So I have now done that too the group can be found by scanning this

Ok so the venue at Strathbrock (Meeting room 1) is secured for the next few weeks as we continue to see if the group is going to gain any further interest or get bigger which I think it might.
I've had a few more people getting in touch.

Looking at what came back from the feedback last night I'm looking to schedule next week's games in the next day or so. At the moment we will run with the four tables. One of these will be solely for those wanting to board game. I think that will be a show up on the night,get a seat and play. Bring you own games and there are some smaller tables for any board game overspill.

A table will be set up for 'Jaws of the Lion' (Gloomhaven) Number of players required TBC,

A table for a Dungeons & Dragons group will be set aside.
If interested in GM'ing the Dungeons and Dragons group can you put a small pitch about setting and intended number of sessions for your 1st Adventure onto the page or send to me and we can cirrculate for interest. I would suggest max 6 players to 1 GM .

The last big table we will set aside for some kind of Dungeon Crawler/Minatures game ( Zombiecide/Descent/ Shadows of Brimstone/ Imperial Assault).

There are 8 sessions between now and Christmas period so maybe in the next month or so we will have a better idea about who will be a regular attender and the groups size requirements

Last session the question was asked about Disclosure/ PVG for those under 16 year attending the group. At the moment anyone under 16 will have to be accompanied by a responsible adult/guardian. That's just to keep ourselves right until we can clarify the position.

Well a good opening night . Definitely a good amount of interest in the community for a gaming group. A quick look at the feedback provided shows that a Wednesday night suits most folk who came along. I will be back in touch over the next few days to see what we can schedule next. We are looking to start up a weekly community gaming group and are running an event at Strathbrock Partnership Centre on Wednesday 26th October 2022 at 6.00pm

If you are interested in participating as a player or running RPG / Miniature Wargames / Board Games please come along to sign up.

The group will initially be open to those aged 12 years and over. Please feel free to share with your friends and family or bring them along on the night to find out more info.
