Top tips on how to keep yourself accountable 💕
1. Create a schedule and commit to it
Decide how frequently you want to work out. Set a date and time weekly and commit to it. Put it in your calendar and do not let anything get in the way.
2. Find a buddy and set goal together
Set a SMART goal (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-oriented.) You will struggle to even get started with unplanned goals like “get healthy” - how do you ever know if you've reached this goal?
3. Set a bet or a competition with your buddy
If you both set different goals, bet who will hit it first or keep a source of who completes more of their weekly tasks
4. Be honest and realistic
Do not set yourself goals that are impossible to achieve. Start small.
5. PLAN YOUR FOOD
Cannot stress this enough. Make sure you have a decent amount of the food in the house and plan how many meals you’re going to have in a day – this can change but having a goal in mind will keep you on track better.
6. Align your priorities
If your goal isn’t a priority you wont achieve it. Simple
7. Be in the right mindset
Why is this important to you? How will it ultimately improve your life?
8. Be ready to learn and fail
The fitness journey is not a smooth sailing process. The reality is that there’s going to be bumps in the road. Accept that and keep a positive mindset.
