⚫️🟡 Match Report ⚫️🟡
Our Final game of the season.
We played Westerton last night in our final game of season 2024/25.
Like the last game, Westerton weren’t going to make anything easy for us and in the end both teams left with a point.
We started off slow and Westerton took advantage of a mistake at the back post. Westerton went ahead, we played some good football throughout the 1st half, but our luck just wasn’t there. Westerton would then again go grab another goal before half-time.
2nd half we came alive, and we started to get back into the game with a ball through for Gary Kettrick to bury the ball in the back of the net. Our game changed at that point. The boys started to get back into a rhythm and played some great football, we played out from the back and played in tight areas of the park to get around the Westerton defence.
We had a good 5 or 6 chances, but their keeper was not making it easy.
The final goal of the game would come from Kai, another well worked goal for Kai to do what he does best.
To the end of the half, we didn’t give up, and we tried for that late winner, but it didn’t come.
Final Game of the season 2-2
Team effort tonight and also a well done to our trialist’s who stepped in and stepped up straight away into the squad.

⚫️🟡 match report⚫️🟡
It’s a tough game to review when there was so much positive from us today.
With minimal numbers, we faced the league champions on their turf, and we knew going into the game it would be a tough challenge with only 12 players due to injuries.
The game started off very competitive for both teams and there was plenty of action across the park with both teams having early chances, the 1st goal would come at 30 mins to Kilsyth. We re-grouped and when a ball was played high up the park for Lucas to be 1-on-1 with the keeper, Lucas was brought down in the box.
There were a few briefs moments whilst Lucas received treatment that we were shown a straight Red to a Gairdoch player. Some decisions today can’t be explained, this being one of them.
Kai stepped up with a well struck penalty to make it equal.
We played out the half with 10 men and kept it equal.
Into the 2nd half and we didn’t give up. That was the main theme of the 2nd half. Everyman covered the ground, worked hard and did not give up, Kilsyth would eventually go ahead again. The boys played on and did not give in to the point we had to sub in George to play on the wing after Harris came off.
The determination carried on even after Kilsyth went ahead again to make it 3-1.
In the dying moments we got a corner and a well struck cross to the near post found Callum to header it home.
Although not a win the football, the determination and the energy to keep us in the game was superb to watch and the team deserved more from the result.
Team effort today and all players deserve MOTM well done team.

⚫️🟡 Match Report ⚫️🟡
Today’s Game against Rossvale, not a great start from us today and overall.
Rossvale broke early to pick up on a mistake to take them 1 nil up, we shortly equalized with a great through ball for Kai to work his magic and make it even.
Rossvale didn’t give up and kept pressuring us and again took the lead. We played periods of really good football and managed to equalize with some great link - up play from Jay to put Lucas in front of goal which he didn’t disappoint, with a great placed ball to get us even again. After that, it seemed to just run away from us, and we didn’t have the effort to get back into the game.
Final score 6-2 to Rossvale.
There were plenty of individual performances today, Kai up top working hard, holding up the ball and making it hard work for the defence, Lucas in and out of the box creating play, and for his work rate. Jayden for his work rate in the centre of the park, his energy and Strength holding up play and then getting us forward.
Coaches MOTM today for an all-round performance, pushing the team forward and work effort goes to Jay Ramsay

⚫️🟡 Match Report ⚫️🟡
The 1st game of 2 against Westerton before the end of the season.
Westerton started strong and within minutes of kick off got a fast and early break for them to go ahead in the game. We picked ourselves up and got straight back at Westerton with a well worked goal for Kai to make things level.
It was end to end football and neither team gave up. Westerton again were strong on the break, and they managed to get into the 18 and finished the chance to go ahead, we battled back in the 1st half to make it level another good goal from Kai this led us into half time.
2nd half we were more calm on the ball we played the ball around better and created some superb chances, we went ahead again from some good football to get the ball into Kai to pick up his hattrick, we settled into the game very well and the football was excellent and we worked as a team the last goal would come from a sliding challenge at the back to get it down the line to Lucas who seen Bailie making his run through the centre a composed and accurate strike sent it top bins, it was a worldly strike.
Final score 4-2
Team effort today got it over the line but some very good and standout individual performances.
MOTM - both players deserve for their efforts today in a great game.
Well done
Our Captain Bailie Muir & Liam Speirs, both causing Havoc to the opponents and gave standout performances.
