Had a fun day at The Dewerstone, teaching and consolidating trad climbing skills for this excellent climber, aiming to increase confidence in belay building and preparation to lead up through the grades.

Yosemite climber comes to Devon! 😎
What an awesome guy!

Roger started climbing in 1962.

He hung out with Royal Robbins, Yvon Chouinard and others in Yosemite’s Camp 4 in the 60s/70s - an era of rock climbing legends!

Roger climbed The Nose back in the 70’s, and climbed Cenotaph Corner in 1974 before Wild Country Friends were available (and before we were born)!

Nearly 80yrs, and still up for challenging climbs, in suboptimal conditions on Dartmoor just for the adventure of it!

Back home in the US, he continues to rock and ice climb.

What a privilege to guide you!

A repeat visit to Pridhamsleigh Cavern for this couple, exploring some of the fascinating phreatic maze of tunnels and taking time to enjoy the beautiful crystal clear lake. There is always more to explore!

Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, Matt is heading to Nepal in October to reach Everest Base Camp and climb Island Peak and Loboche East - both over 6,000masl.

Aiming to build confidence with heights in preparation for a challenge in the Alps, on this half day Confidence-Building Workshop, we gradually progressed through stages of abseiling and rock climbing, until “we were willing to try much bigger and harder stuff than we ever thought we would!” 😎
