With no Jags fixture this weekend, get your football fix in Buckie at Merson Park with our neighbours Buckie Rovers FC taking on Premier League Colony Park Juniors in the last 16 of the Grill League Cup.

Thanks also to Rovers for allowing four of their squad to play for our Under 21s at Victoria Park last night.

Our break from league action continues as we welcome Premier League side Colony Park to Merson Park for this Grill Cup round of 16 tie.

The Inverurie based side will provide another really stern test for us as the tough games keep on coming, the boys will be eager to produce a better showing than last weekend and prove they're able to compete against a team from a higher division.

Last weekend's turnout at Merson Park was nothing short of magnificent, so if that could be replicated this weekend that would be greatly appreciated by all involved with the club and would give our players a real boost as they look to try bounce back from their first defeat of the season.

With our neighbours Buckie Thistle Football Club not in action this weekend, there is no better opportunity for Jags fans to get themselves over to Merson Park Saturday afternoon to back their local NOSFL Club and ensure they still get their local football fix this weekend!🤝

Hope to see you all come through the Merson Park gates in your numbers come 2pm Saturday as we look to try cause a cup upset👊🏻

It’s that time again, the Scottish Cup First Round is less than two weeks away.

The Buckie Thistle Memory Group announces its annual competition of the Last Team Standing from the 60 teams in Round One.

This year if we get enough interest we will do two competitions side by side, which will allow more people to enter.

We at the Memory Group would like it known that all monies after paying out the winning person(s) will be donated to the Buckie Thistle cause to help keep our Club alive going forward. If there was ever a season where the team needs a good run through to the fourth round it is this, good luck Buckie Thistle.

So to the competition, we will fill the first 60 numbers, then if we get enough interest we will fill a second 60 numbers.

Each number 1-60 will cost £2.50. The prize for the person with the team that plays last in the competition will win £75.

If at the end there is more than one team left playing at the same time, then the prize will be shared.

Thank you for your support, please state which numbers you wish along with your payment of £2.50/number sent to [email protected] using PayPal Friends & Family.

Once all the numbers are sold we will draw the teams and allocate them to the numbers sold.
