📣 ONE SHOW TO GO 📣

With Newbury rather taking over our socials for the last couple of weeks, it’s time to get back to our Summer League… and these are your current standings with just ONE show remaining!

🏆 Summer League Championship Show
📅 Sunday 4th October
📍 Bucklebury Equestrian

And it really is all still to play for!

Our Championship Show is OPEN TO EVERYONE, and we’d absolutely love to welcome new competitors too.

🆕 If it’s your first USJL show, you can enter and compete as normal — the only difference is that new competitors won’t accrue league points at the Championship Show. Any points they would have earned will simply be handed down to the next eligible league competitor.

For everyone already in the league, Championship points count towards your final totals, and at the end of the day we’ll be crowning our 2026 Summer League Champions!

ℹ️ In the event of a tie at the championship show competitors may be asked to jump off to decide a winner, if the competitor is not attending on the day they will forfeit their points

So take a look at those tables… because there are still plenty of points up for grabs and plenty that can change on the day!

And if you’re joining us for the first time and fancy getting involved in a league from the very beginning, you won’t have long to wait…

And because we haven’t done one for a while — and we KNOW you lot love an Early Bird offer…

For the 8th November (plus mandatory medics fee per competitor)

Get yourself ahead of the game and get those Winter League entries in nice and early.

⏰ Offer ends 6pm this Sunday ⏰
Payment must be received by 6pm.
After that, normal entry prices resume.

⛔️ Class numbers are capped much lower ⛔️
This is to allow for league winner presentations, photos and celebratory lap of honour

📸 NEWBURY SHOW RESULTS…

🫠 Sorry, sorry, sorry everyone!
I know I promised results by Monday evening-Newbury well and truly finished me off!

Monday was spent trying to get all
(if any!) cylinders firing again.

🎈 Tuesday was Lola’s birthday! 🎂
Wednesday involved rearranging three bedrooms and the entire lounge, ready for the workmen to replace all the windows on Thursday!

The windows are now in, the house is back together (mostly!), it smells absolutely toxic, and I’m aching in places I didn’t know existed!

I’m officially calling it a day & hitting the hay😴

Tomorrow is an admin day, and getting those results posted is top of the ‘to do’ list!

And now, in true Blue Peter style… “Here’s one I prepared earlier”
To ease my guilt over still drowning in admin while some of you lovely lot are waiting on things from me.

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE day!

The long-awaited return of showjumping to Ring 1 at Newbury Show, and how incredibly proud we are that USJL got to be the ones to bring it back!

We are still buzzing, mildly exhausted, but feeling incredibly proud of what YOU all helped us achieve today! 🫶🏼
