🏆 League Champions! 🏆

What a season it’s been for our Ladies’ Div 1 team! We couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved in this year’s North Wales League.

Led by Nia, the team played 14 matches, winning 11 and drawing 3 – an incredible achievement. With a squad of just five players, they showed amazing commitment, travelling all over North Wales from Wrexham to Bangor and giving their all every time they stepped on court.

This season has been about so much more than winning matches. It’s been about teamwork, supporting one another, and building genuine friendships along the way. The ladies have worked incredibly hard together, played some fantastic tennis, and created a team spirit that has made this success even more special.

As captain, Nia is incredibly proud of what the team has achieved and feels grateful to be part of such a supportive group of teammates who have become great friends.

Our Men’s 1st Team took on Mold at home in their final match of the summer league, securing a 3–1 win. The team narrowly missed out on the fourth point after losing a match tie-break, but it was a fantastic evening of tennis with some great performances all round.

A huge well done to Tomos and the team for their hard work throughout the summer league. A brilliant effort all season! 👏🏻. Div 2 PYF

Our Men’s 2s travelled to Bangor yesterday and came up against a strong Bangor side, unfortunately losing 4-0. Despite the score, the team played some great tennis. A big thank you to all the players for making the long journey to Bangor and representing the club. 🙌🏽

🎾 Ladies 2 Match Report 🎾

Our Ladies 2 team welcomed Rhos on Sea last night for a fantastic afternoon of tennis. The matches were incredibly competitive, with three match tie-breaks played, showing just how close the games were.

Unfortunately, the scores didn’t fall our way this time, with Rhos on Sea taking the 4–0 win. We’re proud of the effort from the team, although disappointed to suffer our first loss of the season.

After the match, we enjoyed a lovely catch-up with the Rhos on Sea ladies over a delicious buffet - a great reminder of the friendships and sportsmanship that make our North Wales summer league so enjoyable.

Men’s Division 2 were away at Mold last night and came away with a hard-earned draw after some really close games.

One match went to a tie-break, and we were just a few points away from taking the win on the night.

A great effort from everyone. One final match to go as we host Mold next week to round off the season 🎾

Last night our ladies welcomed Craig-y-Don for our 12th Summer League fixture – with just one match left to play!

There were some fantastic games throughout the evening, with Penyffordd coming away with a 4–0 win. Well done, ladies! 👏

We enjoyed a catch-up before our visitors headed home. Wishing the Craig-y-Don player who picked up a knock a speedy recovery.
