All other swimming sessions at Buckley Leisure Centre are running as normal.

Do you have a child aged 8+ who would like to build confidence in the water while learning valuable lifesaving skills? 🌊

Then the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Junior Rookie Lifeguard Programme could be the perfect next step.

Designed for children who can already swim 25 metres unaided (Wave 7 or above), the programme focuses on:
🏊 Water confidence
🛟 Water safety awareness
🚨 Basic lifesaving and self-rescue skills

With water safety becoming more important than ever, this programme is a great way for young swimmers to continue progressing while learning skills that could one day help themselves or others.

Sessions are now available at:
📍 Buckley Leisure Centre – Thursdays, 5:00pm
📍 Jade Jones Pavilion, Flint – Tuesdays, 5:15pm or Thursdays, 4:45pm
📍 Mold Leisure Centre – Tuesdays, 6:15pm

Oes gennych chi blentyn 8 oed neu hŷn a fyddai’n hoffi magu hyder yn y dŵr wrth ddysgu sgiliau achub bywyd gwerthfawr? 🌊

Gallai Rhaglen Achubwyr Ifanc RLSS UK (Junior Rookie Lifeguard) fod yn gam perffaith nesaf.

Wedi’i chynllunio ar gyfer plant sydd eisoes yn gallu nofio 25 metr heb gymorth (Ton 7 neu uwch), mae’r rhaglen yn canolbwyntio ar:
🏊 Hyder yn y dŵr
🛟 Ymwybyddiaeth o ddiogelwch dŵr
🚨 Sgiliau achub bywyd a hunan-achub sylfaenol

Gyda diogelwch dŵr yn bwysicach nag erioed, mae’r rhaglen hon yn ffordd wych i nofwyr ifanc barhau i ddatblygu wrth ddysgu sgiliau a allai un diwrnod helpu eu hunain neu eraill.

Due to ongoing issues with the swimming pool at Buckley Leisure Centre, Splash, Wave 1 and Wave 2 swimming lessons have been cancelled this evening.

All parents have been contacted directly by telephone.

Wave 3 and above lessons are running as normal.
