2026–27 Membership Update
We’ve got a few exciting updates to membership for the new season.

Non-carded boxers who attend the gym for fitness only will now be registered as Participant Members.

The registration fee for the 2026–27 season is £10. This ensures you are officially recorded as a club member and, as part of your membership, you will receive a Sting T-shirt and have access to WABA member benefits.

Membership Rewards 🎁
All paid membership levels now have access to WABA Membership Rewards portal through Sport:80.
This gives you access to discounts across a huge range of brands and everyday products.

So your membership gives you more than just access to the gym, there are some great savings available too!

FIRST AID TRAINING COMPLETE! 🩹❤️

Today, 11 of our team/members completed First Aid training right here at the gym, covering both Paediatric First Aid and First Aid in the Workplace.

Keeping our members safe is always a priority, and having more trained first aiders within our gym and boxing club means we're even better prepared should an emergency ever happen.

It's another investment into our community and something I'm really proud of ❤️

☀️ We are open all Summer Holidays ☀️ (just no Monday sessions)

As the summer holidays approach, we wanted to let everyone know about our plans for training.

In previous years we've taken some time off over the summer, but as we don't have a holiday planned this year, we'll be keeping the gym open.

Throughout the summer holidays, we won't be running Monday junior boxing only.

We will be still running Wednesday and Thursday sessions 😊

This will allow our junior members to keep training and maintaining their fitness throughout the summer.

Massive well done to Jake on stepping through the ropes for your first bout today. It takes real courage to get in there and test yourself, something most people will never do. The result doesn't define you, every boxer learns and grows from each experience. Hold your head high, take the lessons from today, and be proud of what you've achieved. This is just the start of your boxing journey, and we're all proud of you 🥊🥊🥊

Some of the boxers last night having a session with Vic Smith from KC Pilates.

This session was organised to help improve core strength, balance, flexibility, posture, and injury prevention.

Boxing isn't just about what happens in the ring. The best athletes work on all aspects of their fitness, and sessions like these play a big part in helping our boxers perform at their best.
