East Herts Golf Club was founded in 1899 and is one of the oldest private members clubs in the area. East Herts welcomes visitors and societies to our club with a stunning 18-hole golf course set in the tranquil countryside. This hidden gem is located on the A10 near to Buntingford making it easily accessible from the A1, M25 and M11 and is only 30 minutes from London. Our clubhouse boasts two bars and a large restaurant with a large outdoor balcony that overlooks the 18th green with Hamels Mansion in the background – this is a popular spot on warm days and evenings for that well-earned drink. We also have a fully stocked Professional Shop with three PGA qualified staff as well as the latest in golf equipment and technology, clothing and accessories. Our PGA staff offer a comprehensive coaching programme which also includes a successful junior academy that is run in a fun and safe environment.

Great fun at yesterday’s Staff Cup. 🏆

Greenkeepers, Bar Staff, Chefs, Office Staff and Pros turned out to take on a strong members’ team in the hope of winning this prestigious trophy.

I’m pleased to report it was a convincing win for the staff team, and most importantly a fun evening with the non-playing staff also getting the opportunity to give golf a go.
