🖤What a day for Girls rugby at Burgess Hill.

A huge thank you to Mid Sussex Active for bringing the Love Rugby Fest in partnership with England Rugby Schools to Burgess Hill RFC🏉

🏃‍♀️This Girls' secondary schools rugby festival saw school teams from across the county taking part in a day of T1 rugby.

🖤The Burgess Hill coaches were proud to see so many of our BHRFC Girls out there, playing for their schools and helping run the day too. 👏

🏉Friendly at Pulborough

💪On Sunday, we headed over to Pulborough for a joint training session, working on passing and tackling, then finished with a friendly game.

🏃‍♀️We took a big travelling squad and were able to lend players to Pulborough to allow both teams to field 15 and make sure everyone got a game.

Loads of smiles, great rugby and plenty of learning on both sides.

Huge thanks to Pulborough for hosting us. We can't wait to do it again soon! 🙌

🚨RUCK masterclass

🏉This week the girls were given a masterclass in ruck technique by Evie Collingbourne, (Trailfinders Women Pathway Academy player, and former Burgess Hill player) and Lee Collingbourne, Burgess Hill RFC Head Coach.

🔥The girls were taken through the ruck, understanding body position and how / when to ruck, and then took part in high energy practical sessions.

Our girls learn from the best 💪

🖤Huge thanks to Lee and Evie for giving up their time to invest in the next generation of Sussex All Blacks. Our second session with them in the last few weeks. 🙏

💪 We’ve had a brilliant pre-season building fitness, sharpening skills, and we are READY TO GO! 👊

💥Our first game (U14) kicks off on September 20th, and keep your eyes peeled for more guest coaching and fun training sessions coming soon.

🤔Thinking about joining? There’s still time! We train as a full squad on Wednesday evenings, plus age-group specific sessions on Sunday mornings.
