Today is a very special anniversary for us as it marks 7 years since our 12 Hour Grapplethon.

08/06/2019 saw Clubs from all over the North-West come and roll for 12 hours and helped us raise over £2000 for two amazing charities Leeds Cares & Lymphoma Action UK.

It also marked our 25th Anniversary, definitely one of our favourite memories! What a day 🙌

We had a fantastic day at The Academy today! Huge congratulations to Easton who was awarded May Student of the Month.

Also Corbyn who was awarded a tab and Henry who was the first person to receive a Milltown Marvel Award for his fantastic striking techniques.

Rossendale Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are very happy to announce our brand new ‘Women’s only” class that is starting on Monday 1st June at 6:30pm

The class will be taught by our women’s coach, Anya.

The class is perfect for beginners

💡Ideal for women of all ages that would like to…

✅ Learn some important self defence skills
✅ Learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
✅ Build confidence and fitness
✅ Train in a positive environment
✅ Socialise and meet new people

Places are limited in the class, so all we’d ask is that you message us to book your place on the opening night 🙏

Classes will be £6 each to attend.

We are delighted to share that .coulthard is joining the team here at Rossendale Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Anya, is an experienced purple belt training out of the fantastic and under hugely respected coaches John and Steven (in the picture)

We asked her to give us a quick intro -

“Hey I’m Anya…

I’m a 25 year old purple belt from Carlisle.

I started training when I was 17 out of Radgie Rollers before moving to Burnley for university, where I now train out of Milltown bjj.

I love bjj for confidence, fitness and the community it brings and would love to share the mat with new women and show them this awesome sport”

We’ve trained with Anya a few times now and both Steve and Matt are buzzing to have her onboard.
