Creating Opportunities, Building A Community at East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy ⚽️🤝

We are proud to announce the return of former ELGA goalkeeper, Lewis, to our coaching team!

After reaching our upper age limit last season, Lewis is officially back in a new role. Coach Kersh and Coach Crossy not only watched Lewis develop into an amazing young goalkeeper, but they also recognised his calm, confident leadership qualities that will make him a fantastic role model for our young keepers.

With his college schedule giving him the flexibility to join the coaching team, we jumped at the chance to bring him on board. Just like Coach Alex, Lewis knows the academy inside out and understands our culture and the high standards we expect from both ourselves and our goalkeepers. Lewis will be assisting our lead coaches as he begins his journey on the coaching pathway.

Please join us in giving him a warm welcome back to the ELGA family! 🤝💛

We have a wonderful update to share regarding our Lead Goalkeeping Coach, Taylor! ⚽✨

Taylor’s surgery was a complete success, and she is officially on the mend and well on the road to recovery. While she takes the time she needs to rest and recharge, we know her passion and dedication mean she’ll be right back where she belongs before long.

Her commitment to inspiring, mentoring, and guiding the next generation of goalkeeping talent across East Lancashire is second to none, and we can’t wait to welcome her back to the training pitch.

Please join us in sending Taylor the warmest wishes for a speedy and comfortable recovery! 💛⚽️

After a triumphant return to training, Crossy and Kersh enjoyed a well-deserved celebratory pint.

Following an incredible turnout of new goalkeepers joining us for taster sessions over the past two weeks and a 100% sign-up rate, a post-session review was definitely in order! 😉🍺

Our streamlined business operations are now translating directly onto the training pitch. Both of our current sessions are officially at full capacity, as we proudly stick to our core principle of maintaining a 6:1 keeper-to-coach ratio to guarantee the highest quality training at East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy

With two returning coaches joining us in the near future, we will soon be expanding our capacity to train even more talented young goalkeepers across East Lancashire.

We are thrilled to share some news happening behind the scenes! ⚽🧤

We are in the early stages of an exciting new pathway that will give our goalkeepers the opportunity to train at a professional football club!

Selections have already begun for a few of our keepers, and the wheels are officially in motion. 🆙️

Offering genuine, high-level opportunities for keepers across East Lancashire is the exact reason why Kersh and Crossy founded East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy in the first place. This is what it’s all about.

Watch this space—big things are coming! 🚀👀

Top-tier reflexes from U13s Charlie in his recent pre-season fixture ! 🧤🔥

Extension and power to tip this goal-bound penalty over the bar. Brilliant concentration and shot-stopping ability on full display. This is what all those hard hours on the training pitch are for! 💛🖤 Supreb Chaz 👌
