🎃🧟🏊‍♂️ IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR MONSTER SPLASH! 🧟🏊‍♂️🎃

🧙‍♀️ We’re busy getting ready to welcome our swimmers, and those from visiting clubs, to our first gala of the season this weekend! 🦇

Our amazing volunteers have been putting in a spooktacular amount of effort to make this a weekend to remember. They’ve been working their magic behind the scenes 🪄 decorating the venue, sorting the monstrous medals 🏅 and creating some fang-tastic spot prizes. 🧛‍♂️🎁 A HUGE thank you to everyone who helps bring the Monster Splash (back) to life. 🧟🖤🤍

We can’t wait to see everyone dive in, race hard, cheer each other on and have a fab-BOO-lous time! 👻💦

Such a massive well done to the Burnley Bobcats Triathlon swimmers and parents raising £3,565.75 for

A very special congratulations to Gracie L for being our fund-raising champion with an incredible £730!! A well-deserved prize winner.

Thank you so much as well to everyone who donated. Not only did you push our athletes through a tough challenge that almost broke some, but you've also made a huge difference in our community. 🫶

🏊 A huge well done to our Arena League team for a brilliant performance last night in Round 1 at Leigh Sports Village. 👏

A very closely contested competition saw Bobcats finishing in 3rd place, with only a handful of points separating us from the winning team on the night, with everything to swim for in the upcoming rounds.

The evening culminated in a very exciting (and very noisy!) 8x50m Squadron Relay, with Bobcats winning this final race of the night. 🤩

Bring on Round 2! 🖤🤍

Our youngest swimmers took part in the Burnley Bobcats Mini Meet Round 1 last night and they blew us away! 🏊🤩

Our mini meets help our youngest Bobcats experience what it's like to take part in a swimming gala; from marshalling to stepping up to the blocks, to swimming their socks off. All whilst giving brilliant support and cheering for their team mates. 📣🙌

It takes a lot of organisation to bring these meets together, so we'd like to thank all the parents and volunteers who spent their Friday night supporting this event. We also loved to see our more experienced swimmers helping out at this event and being excellent role models for the younger swimmers. 🥰

What a great night, we can't wait for Round 2 in December! 🖤🤍
