🎾 Tennis for All 🎾 We are delighted to be working with Burnley Tennis CLUB and Burnley Leisure & Culture to increase local opportunities for everyone to play Tennis. With this in mind, we are launching our Summer of Tennis competition! To enter, simply comment on this video with your best Tennis inspired photos. Whether you are hosting a Wimbledon picnic or playing balloon tennis or having a game with your family, we'd love to see you enjoying this fantastic sport. This weekend is a fantastic opportunity to watch the best tennis players in the world in action as the Wimbledon finals and the Wheelchair Tennis matches are broadcasted. This summer, unlock the door to an action-packed world of sports, creativity, and team-building at Burnley Tennis Club. We're thrilled to offer children aged 4 to 12 an incredible opportunity to dive into a variety of sports and enriching activities

From mastering the basics of tennis and cricket to exploring the fast-paced fun of hockey and lots of other sports our multi-sports program is perfect for young people of all skill levels. Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or aiming to refine their sporting prowess, there's something here for everyone!

But it's not all about sports! Our program goes beyond to include a wide range of enriching activities designed to spark creativity and practical skills. Children will have the joy of making music, cooking up delicious treats, engaging in arts and crafts, and getting their hands dirty with some fun gardening. Each activity is tailored to be age-appropriate, ensuring that every child finds something fun and interesting.

🎾Exciting Tennis Update!🎾

We are thrilled to announce that starting this Monday and running until October, all junior tennis activities are completely FREE for players aged 16 and under! This initiative is part of our celebration of being a community club and a national finalist in the LTA British Tennis Awards for Connecting Communities! Winner to be announced at Wimbledon in July

We are also a finalist in the Active Burnley Sports Awards for Club of the Year

and in recognition of a year brimming with sporting events like the Euros, Olympics, and Wimbledon and Burnley being a great Outdoors Town

Here’s What You Need to Know

Unlimited Access - Kids can attend as many sessions as they want, each week, absolutely free, from May through October

This opportunity is made possible thanks to funding from Levelling Up, Sport England, and club investments, aiming to make tennis and multi-skills sports accessible to everyone.

Summer Camps and More - Alongside regular coaching, we’re also offering free summer camps and holiday activities

What we will include - Coaching sessions, fun games, activities, team tennis, festivals, and opportunities to take part in leadership awards/first aid and more

Booking Information
Pre-Booking Required
We anticipate high demand for these sessions and strongly advise all parents to book their children in advance to secure a spot, we also ask if you can share our FREE sessions in your personal WhatsApp groups, school groups, brownies/beavers/scouts/guides etc

We are so excited to offer these FREE Tennis For All taster sessions with Burnley Tennis CLUB and Burnley Leisure & Culture.

These sessions are designed for everyone to come and have a go at Tennis in a safe and inclusive setting.

The sessions are open to everyone and will be adapted to your needs. Whether you haven't played for a long time, have never played or live with a Long Term Condition, limited mobility, chronic pain or visual impairment, we will be able to work with you to make sure you get the most from the sessions.

Each week you can sign up to a session at your local park court – no matter your age, background or ability – and play tennis for free.
