Our first show taught us so much ✨
1️⃣ You’ll never fully feel like it’s “stage ready” but trust in your preparation, your team, and your students. When the curtain goes up, it all comes together 💫
2️⃣ Get as many parents as possible to complete their chaperone licence. You can never have too many helping hands backstage, and having a strong support team makes the whole experience run so much smoother 🙌
3️⃣ You cannot do everything yourself. Delegate jobs and trust the people around you. You don’t need to choreograph every solo, duet, trio, and group piece in the show. You hired amazing teachers for a reason, let them shine too ❤️
Putting on a show is stressful, emotional, exciting, and so rewarding all at once… but teamwork really is everything.

Sorry for the long post… but there are so many people I need to thank after Encore in Wonderland ✨🎡💜
First, I’d like to thank my mum, Sarah, for literally everything. Encore wouldn’t be the same without her. She deals with so much — the biggest thing being me 😂 — and somehow still keeps everything together. I honestly couldn’t do any of this without you.
Next, Evie… I don’t want to get emotional, but truly, I couldn’t do this without you. From Nana taking in costumes, to you editing music all night, to being the rose between me and Sarah 🌹😂 — I’m so grateful to have you as part of my team.
Thank you to the gorgeous Ellie, who somehow makes tap look easy! But more importantly, thank you for inspiring passion in every dancer each time you walk into the studio. All the extra rehearsals and time you’ve given us means more than I could ever say.
Thank you to Luke. Some people may not know Luke, but he deals with literally everything. Not only is he my fiancé — and somehow survives me being the craziest human ever 😂 — he also supports the business in every way possible and works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep this school going.
