Tonight was exactly what Burnley Athletic Club is all about 💙❤️

Athletes, parents, guardians, coaches and volunteers all came together for our Walk / Jog / Run & Talk event as part of Mental Health Week — and what a lovely evening it was.

It was fantastic to see people of all ages chatting, laughing, meeting new faces and supporting one another around the track. From our youngest juniors to parents and coaches, the sense of togetherness throughout the evening was brilliant.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, joined in and helped make the event such a success. Events like this remind us that Burnley AC is far more than just athletics — it’s a community, a support network and a family.

Together we move. Together we talk. Together we achieve 💙❤️

🌤️ The sun may have been shining, but in true Blackpool fashion it was chilly and windy for the Lancashire Track & Field Championships this weekend!

Two fantastic days of competition saw our Burnley AC athletes rise to the challenge, producing some outstanding performances and doing the club proud with their commitment, focus and support for one another 💙❤️

🔥 Proud Club Moment 🔥

Today, 8 of our younger athletes proudly took on Event 1 of the Pendle & Burnley Grand Prix at Hambledon Hill 💪

From start to finish, they showed incredible determination, grit, and true team spirit. With fantastic support (and plenty of noise!) from parents on the sidelines, they represented Burnley AC brilliantly in our club colours.

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them – a fantastic effort all round! 👏

🔥 Track Season is Underway! 🔥

What a fantastic start to the season at Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde AC
From U10's right through to seniors, we had an incredible 21 athletes proudly representing Burnley Athletic Club ❤️🩵

There were PBs flying in across long jump, sprints, and middle distance – a true reflection of all the hard work put in over the winter months 👏

We couldn’t be prouder of every single athlete who competed. The effort, team spirit, and support for one another made it a brilliant day all round – helped by some lovely weather too ☀️

Bring on the next one… we’re just getting started! 💪
