It is with great sadness we post that our great friend and scorer Peter Roberts passed away on Friday evening.

Peter volunteered to be our scorer around 5 years ago when he showed up to watch and realised we were struggling between the players to score. He was instant hit with the team and could often be heard shouting "Bowlers Name" at the start of every over. His enthusiasm and love for the game was infectious and the club will not be the same with out him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Peter's Family at this time.

Thursday night cricket! 🏏

We are looking for players for T20 cricket on Thursday nights, starting this Thursday! All matches played in the Clitheroe/Burnley area. Fresh approach for the 2022 season. A welcoming, social team. Everyone will get a bat and a bowl that wants one. No expectations. No joining fee. Opportunity open to newcomers or those who want a bit of extra practice for their weekend club teams. All ages. Morning all looks like we’re in for a Indian Summer this week,the sun is out and temperatures are getting into the 20s. Why not come down and enjoy the weather and a bit to eat sat outside or takeaway.

6 teams of under 9s played in the tournament at Longridge, clitheroe, Leyland, ramsbottom, Burnley and us.

We played 3 games, didn't win but showed some excellent progress! All the kids were fantastic and a great day was had by all in the glorious sunshine!
