This just skims the surface
The committee will be clocking off for a month.
People have enquired about friendlies and even asked about another summer league.
For friendlies, you can contact the 3G venues directly and organise whatever games you like as private booking
As for a summer league - If you can find someone to organise it, crack on. Once again, this will be completely separate to this league
We will regroup towards the end of June and announce a date for the AGM.
For any new teams looking to join, send a message and we will get back to you. We have already had around 7 enquiries, 3 of which are pretty much confirmed to join.
Another season of learning, and despite losing 5 teams throughout the season, we are one of the only growing grassroots leagues in the North West according to the LFA. The stress is real, never able to please everyone and a lot of comments made both on an off the pitch in relation to how the league is run.
We will be sure to leave a few spare seats at the AGM for those who wish to step up voluntarily to help on the committee
Thank you to all the venues, the refs and to the committee. A mammoth task once again

Results from last weekend...
🏆 Premier Division Cup Final - Hosted by Burnley Utd FC
⚽️ Daneshouse 6 vs 3 Kudos Utd
Big thank you to Burnley Utd for hosting what was a very entertaining game. Kudos were quick out of the traps, going 2-0 up within the first 10 minutes. Daneshouse regrouped and went in at half time 3-2 up. Into the second half and it was Daneshouse's turn to get a quick start with 2 goals to make it 5-2 and possibly putting the game to bed. Kudos quickly responded with a quality overhead kick to make it 5-3 and it was game on for the last 10 minutes.. Daneshouse were quick to cancel the momentum with a goal to make it 6-3 and seal the win. The officials were asked to give their man of the match and it was given to Ismail Usman.
🏆 Premier Division
⚽️ Kudos Utd 2 vs 0 Globe FC
2 games in 48 hours for Kudos. It was this win that gave them the Premier League title. A goal early on, but Globe were no push over. A late goal from Kudos gave them the win they needed, winning the title on goal difference from Daneshouse.
🏆 Second Division
⚽️ Hyndburn 3 vs 1 Mavericks
Both teams with nothing to play for, but building blocks for next season.
We are now approaching the last couple of weekends of the season. We've already had a lot of interest from teams looking to the join the league next season. If you are interested, please inbox us a message and we can let you know the basics.
After the Towneley Cup Final on the 22nd May, the committee will be a taking a well deserved month off. Time to reflect and regroup for the 2026/27 season
Will post the fixtures for this weekend and next weekend later in the week
Results & Fixtures
Sunday 3rd May
🏆 Towneley Cup Semi Finals - Sponsored by Milltownroofing
⚽️ Craven Heifer 2 vs 7 Daneshouse
A close first half overshadowed by a potential red for the Daneshouse goal keeper. Surviving that scare, Daneshouse ran out comfortable winners in the second half with Ismail Usman bagging a hat trick and Waqas Azam getting their MOM. MOM for the Craven was Alex Grice
⚽️ Kudos Utd 1 v 1 Belvedere - Kudos Utd won 4-1 on penalties
Starting the game with only 10 men, Kudos went in front after only 10 minutes. Belvedere unable to clear and Jack Redmond slotted home. Belvedere were unable to break down a well organised Kudos side, unfortunate not to go in at half time at 1-1 after hitting the cross bar. A stalemate for much of the second half until a last minute free kick was launched into the Kudos box and Jake Thurlow tapped in to take it to penalties.
Jacob Routh in the Kudos goal was the hero, saving 2 in the shootout, giving him the MOM and booking their place in the final
🏆 Championship
⚽️ Peel Park 3 vs 2 Sabden
Neither side with anything to play for, but an entertaining game non the less. Sabden went in at half time 2-1 up only for Peel Park to battle back in the second half to take all 3 points.
🏆 Second Division
⚽️ Mavericks 6 vs 2 Royal Dyche
A similar story in this game. Royal Dyche 2-1 in front at half time, Mavericks turned it on in the second half to win 6-2.

Kudos and Daneshouse both having to play 2 games in the space of 48 hours and it's all for the Premier Division title.
Level on points, but Kudos sit top with a better goal difference (plus 7) Will it be a league and cup double for someone??
Second Division
Mavericks vs Hyndburn - Marsden Heights - 2.00pm
Fair play to both teams, a fixture that doesn't need playing. An opportunity for both sides to field some players in preparation for next season.
After this weekend, we are close to finishing the 2025/26 season.

⚽️ Kudos Reserves 0 vs 9 Daneshouse
⚽️ Belvedere 1 vs 0 Coal Clough
⚽️ Peel Park 2 vs 4 Craven Heifer
⚽️ Inn on the Wharf 2 vs 3 Kudos Utd
It would have been a huge upset for Kudos Reserves, but a convincing win from Daneshouse to book their place in the Semi Final against the Craven Heifer who had a good win against Peel Park. Belvedere narrowly beat Coal Clough and they will face Kudos Utd who squeezed past Inn on the Wharf in the other quarter final
🏆 Second Division Cup Final
⚽️ Park View Clarets 2 vs 0 Mavericks
A great crowd down at Belvedere on Sunday afternoon. A close game, but a goal in each half secured the win for Park View and gave them the league and cup double

⚽️ AFC Vets 3 vs 5 Globe FC
Despite both side having nothing to play for, it was a close game. AFC Vets started with 9 players but still put in a battling performance

A big win for AFC. Again, both teams with nothing to play for but a chance to field players and start rebuilding for next season.
