Why would anyone see this season as a failure?
Just because we are relegated, awful to watch, no backbone, tedious and tactically hopeless, does that mean people would see the season as a failure?
Seems crazy to me...🙃

What a lovely weekend not having to watch Parkerball.

We went from this legend and ended up with Scott fcking Parker.
Well done Pace and gang.
It's a shambles.
🎙️ Sean Dyche on the changes that have been made at Burnley since Alan Pace took over: “We went from an earthy, stable community-based thinking club to this kind of Americanised, model of social media everywhere, pushing that, wanting to do documentaries, which they did do of course.
“In my opinion, and I’m sure Alan wouldn’t mind me telling you this because I’ve got no other angle, I always tell them the truth, I said: ‘you need to slow down, there are people who have been working at this club for a long time, there’s a fabric that holds this club and the community together, so for me it would be small steps’.
“But they wanted to do the stereotypical American thing in life, not just sport, in my opinion of course, knowing American people as I have done for many years, it’s everything now. It’s let’s push, let’s push, let’s be dynamic.
“That’s fine, but it’s just not that type of club or that part of the country. It needs to be softly, softly and brought in steadily, but they wanted to really run with it.”

I see Parker blames fans again.
What a pathetic little man he is.
Just leave now, nobody wants you here.

Laurent dropped.
This is incredible news. Is Parker ok???

When I look at this ground, I just don't see where a consortium of American business men fit.
This is a proper football club, steeped in history and TRADITION.
They just don't seem to get it, I'm worried about the future, am I being over-dramatic?? 🤞

Scott Parker's Premier League managerial record (13 wins, 20 draws, 47 losses in 80 games for 59 points, or 0.74 points per match/PPM) ranks among the very worst in the competition's modern history — especially for any manager with a substantial sample of 50+ games.
Parker's 0.74 PPM projects to roughly 28 points per 38-game season — deep in relegation territory and below most full-season relegated sides in the last decade.
Parker's record is statistically one of the poorest sustained performances in the Premier League over the last 10 years for any manager given meaningful time. He's had three separate cracks at the top flight with three different clubs — all ending in early struggles or relegation fights — despite being highly regarded for Championship promotions (Fulham 2019/20, Bournemouth 2021/22, Burnley 2024/25). In contrast, most managers who survive multiple seasons or stabilise mid-table sit comfortably above 1.0 PPM. His numbers align more with the very bottom end of the table (the kind of records that usually lead to early sackings), which is why he's frequently cited in "worst PL managers ever" discussions when volume of games is factored in.
