Kinghorn Children's Gala An annual community event in Kinghorn, Fife. Gala Week 2026- Saturday 6th June to Saturday 13th June New volunteers and helpers are always appreciated.

Kinghorn Children's Gala is an annual community event in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland usually held during the first full week in June. Each year a "Royal Party" is chosen from local Primary School children, consisting of a Queen and King (from P7) and two attendants (from P3). Events begin on Sunday with the Crowning of the Queen as part of a day of varying events including a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial. The week culminates the following Saturday with a colourful parade through the town and the Gala party at night. Other events take place throughout the week including sports Competition, Treasure Hunt. Please see this page and our insta for further details. The Gala is organised and run by a committee of local adult volunteers. 🎃👻 KINGHORN’S 1ST HALLOWEEN DECORATION TRAIL! 👻🎃

Get ready to make Kinghorn spooky! 🕷️🕸️

We’re inviting residents, families and local businesses to take part in Kinghorn’s very first Halloween Decoration Trail!

Registration is completely FREE and gives you the chance to have your home or business included on our Halloween Trail map. All registered participants will be added to a map, creating a spooky trail for the community to follow throughout Kinghorn. 🎃

Whether you’re planning a terrifying haunted house, a creepy garden, a family-friendly display or simply want to add a few pumpkins and decorations — we want you to join in!

🏚️ Who will have the best spooky house in Kinghorn?
👻 Who can create the creepiest display?
🎃 Who will go all out for Halloween?

There will be prizes for the best-dressed house and best-dressed business, so get creative and show Kinghorn what you can do!

📅 Trail dates: Monday 26th October – Sunday 1st November
📍 Location: Kinghorn
💷 Registration: FREE

By registering, you agree for your address to be included on the public Halloween Trail map so that families and members of the community can visit and enjoy the displays.
