A new season brings a new chapter for the Burton Badgers, and we’re excited to introduce the leadership and coaching team who will be guiding our women’s senior side throughout the 2026/27 season! 🖤🤍

Behind every team is a group of people working hard off the pitch to help the players perform at their best — developing skills, building confidence, creating standards and, most importantly, making sure the Badgers continue to grow together.

Great effort from the U18s today away at Long Eaton. The girls put in a huge shift across the park, showing real determination, physicality and teamwork throughout a tough fixture.

🎯 Coaches’ Player of the Match – Connie Recognised for her work rate, composure and impact in key moments.

🎯 Coaches’ Player of the Match – Amelie Stood out for her consistency, decision‑making and leadership across the game.

🏉 Leadership Team’s Player of the Match – Vinaina Chosen for her attitude, influence and the example she set throughout the match.

A massive well done to our U16 Girls after a great afternoon of rugby attending a Pitch Up & Play at Tamworth. The girls put in a brilliant shift, with everyone getting plenty of game time and showing great teamwork across all matches.

🏉 Backs Player of the Match – Morgan Selected for her work rate, decision‑making and consistency throughout the afternoon.

💪 Forward of the Match – Flo Recognised for her physicality, dominance in contact and relentless effort in every phase.

🎯 Coaches Player of the Match – Florrie Stood out for her leadership, composure and impact in key moments — a fantastic example of commitment and teamwork.

👏 Opposition Player of the Match – Morgan Chosen by the opposition for her attitude, influence and all‑round performance.

A huge thank you as well to all the girls who stepped in and played for the opposition, brilliant effort, teamwork and spirit shown throughout.

Great game from the U14’s today, a brilliant afternoon of rugby with every single player putting in a huge shift. It was a much tougher contest than the scoreline suggests, but the girls fought hard in every position and came away with a resounding performance.

🎯 Coaches’ Player of the Match – Ivy Recognised for her work rate, attitude and impact across the game.

💪 Forward of the Match – Isla C Outstanding physicality, strong carries and excellent effort throughout, especially impressive on her debut.

🏉 Back of the Match – Ava Superb decision‑making, pace and ex*****on, continuing her great form.

A massive well done to our U16 Girls after a great performance away against a very strong Sandal side. This was our first time playing them, and they were incredibly welcoming, we’re already looking forward to the return fixture.
