After last week’s disappointing result, Burwash were determined to bounce back and prove a point. That’s exactly what the boys delivered, putting five goals past the visitors in a dominant first-half display.
A few substitutions in the second half saw Burwash lose a little control of the game, allowing Ansty FC II to pull one back. The boys responded by switching a few positions around, finding their rhythm once again and adding a well-worked sixth goal.
Ansty managed to grab a second late on, but it was Burwash who deservedly took all three points.
A much-improved performance and result this week — exactly what the boys needed.
