This Sunday, our Club Championship Finals take centre stage as part of Risbygate's Sunday of Sport.

There’s a full day of tennis ahead, with the action starting at 10am and building towards our finals later in the afternoon.

Come along, support our players and enjoy some fantastic club tennis throughout the day.

And don’t forget, there’s plenty happening across Risbygate too, with Outdoor Bowls Finals, family Padel activities from 12–3pm, the BBQ from midday and the bar open.

After weeks of fantastic matches, our finalists will battle it out to become 2026 Club Champions. Expect great tennis, competitive matches and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day.

There'll also be plenty happening around the club, including bowls finals, padel activities, the bar will be open and the BBQ will be fired up – making it a fantastic day for members, family and friends.

Cambs Dunlop Summer Leagues 2026 – Season Round-Up

A huge well done to all of our players who represented Risbygate Sports Club in this year's Cambs Dunlop Summer Leagues. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, commitment and team spirit throughout the season.

Here's how our teams finished:
🏆 Men's Team – Division 4: 1st place
🏅 Ladies 1st Team – Division 2: 8th place
🥈 Ladies 2nd Team – Division 5: 2nd place

Congratulations to our teams for excellent, hard-fought results. Every player has contributed to another fantastic season of competitive tennis for the club.

Our Saturday Social Club session was another brilliant afternoon, with members of all ages and abilities enjoying some friendly, competitive tennis together.

Whether you're an experienced player or just looking to get back on court, our social sessions are all about mixing in, meeting new people, improving your game and having fun. It's one of the best ways to connect with other members and find regular playing partners across the club.

Join us every Saturday from 1pm. See you on court!

Dreaming of Wimbledon? Some of our juniors already are.

Several of our young players are taking part in the LTA Play Your Way to Wimbledon competition, with the chance to play on the famous Wimbledon courts this August.

We're also proud to have hosted the LTA Regional Tour on 11 July for players aged 12 and under.

At this morning's Tuesday 10am Adult Team Level coaching session, the team wanted to say a big thank you to our tennis coach, Paul Hope (Titan Tennis Academy)! 🎾

Over the past year, Paul has given the group so much encouragement, support and expert coaching, helping everyone to develop their game while making every session enjoyable.

To say thank you, the team surprised him after today's session with a special gift: a baseball cap embroidered with an alligator and the words "The Risbygator". 🐊🧢

It's safe to say it was very well received!
